Is this fair? Yes/No

Since I cant use names
Boss spawns...
Two memebers of a certain clan try to take but lock goes
Player A is already there player B is also there and player C comes a little late players A and C are both rangers
to other clan. Boss goes Down and drops a crest orb and royal archery ring...
Player B receives the ring and logs
Players A and C and another player decide to roll for the drop.
Player A wins and asks who has the ring. The other players say player B logged with it... (Now for me i am suspicious when this happens, hats off to you if you don't feel this way)
After about 15 mins later players tell player A she has logged back on. She claims to have paid 500 for it but the players tell her its not like that. Player A trades her and is willing to pay 500 gold feeling bad if she did give that money away. Player B asks for 5k and player A tells her she can't do that... Player B begins to complain and cancels the trade and complains to the group and then says she did not get to roll... Player B rolls and gets a number lower than player A(confirmed by clansmen. She demands player A rolls again and gets a lower number than his first roll and lower than her first roll. Player A being very suspicious and somewhat angry and not wanting a ranger drop to go to a different class calls Player C to roll again. He rolls the exact same number as player B so i tell them to roll again Player C wins and gets the drop.

I think it was pretty fair since all players did attend to fight before it was a quarter of health down... But still

Oh my god, who ever gets the drop, technically it's there's, what ever happens after that is players choices.

no one in the group could possibly solo that boss. And the consensus at the time was to pass orbs and crests to gaurd/gen and roll for the ring drop

If there is only one group rolling for drops is useless. Its random who get the drops in a grp so why make a random decision again?

I kind of agree. Unless the group is full and some people are outside the group. In that case I think it would be fair to roll. But make sure everybody knows before making the group.
