I started a new toon on Mabon, and damn those guys are full of themselves there. Anyway, I strongly suggest trying from a total noob's point-of-view to get some perspective on how it feels to be a noob.

I, for one will be a lot nicer to all, and strive to be helpful with noob quests, and kind in the arena.

arena is arena karl. Its harsh being a noob but you learn from your mistakes eh? Your either in or your out with this game. lvl or dont lvl. ik why noobs beg, heck i even did it back then, didnt know better

What point? the fact that high lvl players are selfish? or that people are rude to new players?

Not just selfish. A lot are absolute sociopaths. It kind of makes me sad as though there are a fair share of kids, there are undoubtedly full-grown adults getting their Internet anonymous hate on.

Society as a whole just sucks.

Ferro, you are wonderful, and extremely helpful. I am really just trying to raise awareness a bit. What good is having full drag armor and everything you need if you start losing players due to folks just being mean?

I think the arena was a horrible idea that will ultimately cause the downfall of the game.

I had the same experience in Morrigan and therefor I stopped killing noobs in Arena and have been helping them ever since until they become annoying or demanding.

Out of all the worlds I have toons in the best one so far is Sulis where they have helped me constantly without ever knowing that I play on this server.

Pfft its your choice to attend the arena. Kill or be killed

I have been playing strategy/political games since the BBS days. The intent might be to create a bit of struggle or add an exciting element to the game, but every one of the games I have played have had a similar downfall.
