I am trying to buy some ancient leather gear and an ancient long bow. I am trying to buy off of someone so I can get at a better price (Conserving them $$$). So my question is: where is the best place to "trade" for the object that I seek. Like is there a specific trading area.

Usually, most trading is done in the castle courtyard. However, some people like to advertise outside of the castle to capture more people's attention. Just sit down on the fountain and send a shout every 1-2 mins. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the response and the advice. I've been here on and off for hours now and still no luck. Guess I'll just have to remain patient.

A suggestion of mine would be, look after other rangers who are using that armor and are about to upgrade

That is something I'm definitely gonna have to try
