Guilty till proven innocent

I was kicked from Mytholgy for allegedly selling drops. I was not asked any questions beforehand, not even by those who call me friend. I am not angry but I am disappointed. The helm in question was given to me by Amna when Revenge fell apart and so where a lot of Dragonlord drops. All the drangonlord I donated to Myth at it's inception, the helm I kept as I planned on using it for my own druid. As time passed though I bought a better helm from an old awake member and I completely forgot about the trollbone helm. As I believed anything I owned pre Myth belonged to me and because I want the new ammy I decided to sell it, plus a few other pre myth things. I did this on my own bank, which is well known by many high lvls, out in the open and not on an anonymous toon which if I was a thief I would have done. I may be many things but stupid is not one of them.
What I feel should have happened:
General or friend : Jaw, where did you get the helm and why are you selling it?
Me: Revenge and I don't use it.
General or friend: Well, could you donate it to the clan instead of selling it?
Me: Sure.
I've been playing this game for a very long time and have accumulated a lot of gear from many people. This helm is not Vosy's, his is a +8, this is a +6 and if I had access to Vosy's toon i would be using it not stripping it. The only toons I have access to are the ones I have built myself. Anyway, I very rarely use the forums so if you want to say anything that I will actually read prob best to do so in game, I was planning on retiring but have after this I have decided to stay for a bit longer. However my kids do have access to my toons though so I would appreciate if you make sure it is actually me driving it before you say anything as they are very young and only see CH as a game, not a place of intrigue and misinformation.

Eh, it's never the one thing...the helm was probably the last straw, it was coming for awhile. Too much time spent badmouthing people, relationships get bent. You cant expect that to go on forever. Eventually something happens and no one has your back because all bridges have been burned. So not really about the helm....just a snowball effect...unfathomable stacking up till no one cared what happened one way or another.

Sorry for butting in here.
But from what jawbone says, that was a very immature and unprofessional way to handle such a situation being the strongest clan in the game.
From what the OP states, he has been in the clan for a long time and I'm sure it was hurtful to just be kicked without trying to resolve or do anything to clear the situation. Anyways it isn't my place to say anything or even my business. So I will just carry on and end my night in Awe.

Yeah...it is, these things are always messy...like i said, not the one thing...is never the one thing. In an honest moment he would agree that he has had a lot of issues before this, things that were patched over, ignored, worked around...at some point everyone runs out of rope. So, yeah...crazy it comes down to some issue over a helm or some unfathomable...but when you really think about it selling that helm isnt something anyone else would do or would have done without discussing it or mentioning it first. Like you both said, been around a good long time and ofc knows how clans work and is a smart person and fully aware it would cause drama...it was a big "in your face and screw you" move that unfortunately for him backfired and snowballed. unfathomable happens.

I have known Jaw since risp and have a lot of respect for him. If the helm was from his private bank the clan should respect whatever decision he wants to do with it. This talk of burning bridges means nothing bc in shallow water bridges and swimming is not needed. People make mistakes and people talk crap since day one. To me just from what I see it is a mistake on myths part and I would hope you make peace with him he is an awesome guy. Don't be shallow.

Right on tuggs. Jaw is a decent chap and probably didn't deserve the boot. It would seem that someone else won the 2014 crown of ultimate cockmaster and it ain't from collecting chickens...Woot!

Again.... its not just about the helm. Actually a very minor aspect of the whole pic. Which is difficult to see if ur not in the clan and esp if not a leader.

Lol Mookie and his gear selling drama, when it's not one thing it's another with the guy. Who gives a unfathomable if JB didn't donate to the clan, it was his before myth, not something that myth gave him, to say not to sell to anyone its very hypocritical.
Gear is earned. Not given, so if he felt like selling it and got a better offer out of clan go for it, it is his. The gear received from raidi isn't free, plat items, Lixes and even time cost money.
Myth sucks anyway, good for u jb.
