You guys are all crazy lol. From being on several servers I believe the issue with Taranis is that there are not many open plat sellers. There may be alot of private sellers but it is very rare to see a seller shouting in any zone. Because of this low suppy, the demand pushes up the price ceiling. In other servers, there are enough plat sellers to ensure a fair price point of 250g per plat. In all worlds, a fair price point for plat seller to be profitable, yet fair is 250g per plat IMHO. The market demand in Taranis is so great that sellers can list their products at 500-750g per plat. In turn, that inflates the prices of all other rare items IE fashion and camo staffs. The only way this trend will reverse is if 1) Plat sellers come together and deflate the market by reducing their profits; 2) New plat sellers emerge and flood the market with competitiveness; or 3) The entire world revolts, overthrowing the current capitalist dictatorship.

I've started a rolling snow ball falling down hill, its getting bigger and bigger and its hard to stop. There are many more plat sellers already and keeping their prices similar to mine, if not lower.

Just use those elix you got now and more will come eventually

Especially once these dammed chests have gone

the equation I use to "accurately" price rare items from chests are as follows.

start with the market value currently set at 2k per plat, multiply the number of chests I have opened (400), and add a zero. so all serpent, flute, black, white, and sparkle are all standardized. this makes it easy.

Firstly im sure its not 2k per plat. That is simply your price.
Secondly, i've opened almost 3k (ish) chests and if i where to use your equation i'd be a divine broom owner with each chest.

Im wondering however if you have obtained any rare items from these chests?
