i have been asked to start a discussion about leveling.
in particular, what happens if you want to level but someone is already in the room? what if they are 'always' in the room and stay for hours.
The game is public, and know one has anymore right to a location than anyone else.
However, that being said, i think we should develop some protocols because i am starting to hear complains that people are being treated poorly (either for not leaving a space or fro trying to level in a space). On our server, we tend to get along fairly well, and the nice thing is we tend to discuss contentious issues.
there are lots of ways to handle these situations, some examples may be:
consider a room at capacity only if there are 6+ people in it. if you come across a grp of 3 in a room, you should feel free to share the room if your grp is 3 or under.
grp with whoever is there, and the people there should accepts requests.
first come first serve - if some is there before you, go do something else until the area is clear
if someone is waiting, no more than two elix before letting the other grp in
and so on and so on.
the above are just ideas - but are not a set of rules. they are by no means the only thoughts out there. I just want us to have a starting place for a discussion. then we will try to come to consensus and hopefully that will resolve some of the tensions as people level higher and there are fewer decent locations in which to level.
thanks
