After discussion with the pple present during last Mordris fight, we came up with this proposition.

Prior to fight, one of the following, or someone wel all agreed on, will be the "Fight treasurer".
All the members of the kill's group will give the gold to that person, as it is easy for 8 ppl to target only one person, maybe had him as friend to make list shorter from zone, if you can't find him on screen.I was thinking that the trade could start when we all gather to dice, by the time the DM, get all drops, the trading between the kill'g group and treasurer should be almost done. Meaning, that the treasurer should be one of the first to arrive back at snorri pit "Run Forest, RUN !!!"

The 3 persons we came with are :
Callator / Akbar / RogerRanger

We thought that this 3 are the most present during big fight, and some of the most respected in this game.
If none of them are present, we will need to agreed quickly on one present person.

This treasurer will use the money to get ALT books, for next fight in case someone need.
I was thinking to add Haste pot too, let me know your opinion.

I personally love some form of this idea. I spend 8k every mordy and have opted to only do mordy once a week because of it. Its been hard to keep up with as im playing between school hours. I graduate in three weeks and will be back full time after but for now its been difficult to keep up.

I understand your idea and i know your intentions are good but... You are entering into a one world government type idea with creating a treasurer to represent all alt books for all clans and participants in a boss fight. I know Ade has been a proponent of a dominant clan and she gets bashed on the forums for it but at the same time these types of things start to creep towards it.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with anything here. I'm just saying that if you bash the idea its hypocritical to take pieces of it and use them. This is why we have the forums correct? To get both good and bad ideas out there.

To play devil's advocate i would question the treasurer if they ran out of books or lixes. Not to mention you are creating a job now. This person has to actively solicit buying and acquire these items. At what acceptable price? What if someone wants 5k per book? Then tomorrow its 2k? Think about things everyone.

Callator was mentioned here. I know him well and yes he is absolutely trustworthy. I doubt he would want to or would have the time to go out and keep alts and hastes stocked. In my opinion, the intentions are great and it could work out but its going to be 'work' and someone would have to be willing to do it.

Also, while I'm ranting, what is to prevent another large clan to say, hey we can afford to do mordris so let's go. Maybe there arent any clans atm but in the future there may be. We are expected to have idols and restos correct? Does callator post his complaints about burning combos? I know callumallen uses a lot of lix on big bosses too. Idols and restos are cheaper i get it but its kind of the cost of getting a drop. If the mages decide to boycott then we will find another way around it. I dont care about the gold if im in lock group. I was a clan leader and if anyone in my clan ever needed anything to participate in a boss fight i tried to provide it for them. Realistically, if the people want to complain about 7-8k gold twice a week then sit out. If u cant afford the fight then dont join. Dont feel obligated to join every fight that occurs.

(Dont attack me too hard. I just had a lot of 'what ifs' when thinking about this)

+1 Couldn't have said it better myself...i dont mean this in a negative bashing way, I just dont see it working out the way it should. I see it causing problems i.e. Multiple people will eventually complain about not getting paid back the sufficient amount of rebirths and alts or whatnot, hence causing a big headache for the treasurer. Just one of many scenarios i can envision happening.

-1 on the whole treasurer thing. I wont go as far as some of the previous folks. However, if peeps are concerned, they could donate lixes, books whatever to the peeps that burn through them. Just a suggestion. Or the group tha always gets credit for kill, thus the gold, could out of the kindness of their hearts, replenish what others need. Whatever.

I can donate lixes and alts and rebirth just tell me who to send the mail too
