Before the thread about the discussion regarding alts in Arena gets lost in the mass of the forum, people need to read this thread first

Some people consider alts as players
Some consider alts as alts
Alts need gold, gears, XP and Killain...
Players having alts that can do Killain need time ...
I play Healmaster and Reelmaster nearly 90% of my playtime at the same time. Bossing together, farming together, camping together. It is extremelly convenient that I can use dual devices because my alts that I consider both mains have exactely the same XPs, they level at the same time. They are both actives, helping in other groups sometimes in quest or in leveling. Some players have time, others dont. That's why some put their non active alts in queue and can do it at different time (during work / lunch time ?) but, once more, these alts are not active contrary to me who am having them actives.
For me it is not a lack of courtesy wanting my active alts leveling as much as your non active alts. That s the contrary, you ask an alt to redo the line which doubles the alt's and players time waiting for killain.
Venus, contrary to 080 said, perfectly grabbed the situation that I am defending.
Considering alts as players for Killiain => All the other players will wait the same amount of time except for the double device player which will have waiting time doubled.
Considering alts as separate entities =>
at the end of the day every one device player will wait the same amount of time .
You're not going to wait less !
If you don't like seeing the same player for 2 hours, you just don't like the player. It's about player and not about the great good for Lugh. I dont mind seeing the same player waiting for Killain for hours because he/she also deserves it !
My vote is obviously for alts doing quest at the time they arrive. If both alts arrive at the same time, they are entitled to do it one after another in the time they appear.
Player 2 Main 1
Player 1 Alt 1
Player 1 Alt 2
Player 3 Main 1
If
player 1 alt 1 arrives at Killain, then
Player 2 Main 1 (with level req and not with small alt camping for main) arrives at Killain, then
player 1 alt 2 arrives at Killain the the line will be
Player 3 Main 1
Player 4 Main 1
Player 1 Alt 1
Player 2 Main 1
Player 1 Alt 2
This is what I find fair and just, and that's what I did when an alt arrived someone else's.
Imagine these situtations:
1/ Player 1 Alt 1
Player 2 Main 1
Player 1 Alt 1
Player 3 Main 1
Player 4 Main 1
2/ Player 1 alt 1
Player 1 alt 2
Player 2 Main 1
Player 3 Main 1
Player 4 Main 1
3/ Player 2 Main 1
Player 3 Main 1
Player 5 Main 1
Player 6 Main 1
Player 4 Main 1
These 3 examples show that the
PLAYER 4 will wait excately the same amount of time regardless who is behind the alts.
4/ Player 2 Main 1
Player 3 Main 1
Player 4 Main 1
Player 1 Alt 1
Player 2 Alt 2
In this situation 4, Player 1 has a long wait
What if you ask the Player 1 alt 2 to redo the line?
5/ Let's say that Player 1 Alt 1 arrives in line and is 3rd and nobody is behind.
Player 2 Main 1
Player 3 Main 1
Player 1 Alt 1
Then logically Player 1 Alt 2 is fourth inline if nobody comes.
Then when comes Player 1 alt 1 to be first in line after 2 hours queue, this situation will undoubtedly appear
Player 1 Alt 1
Player 4 Main 1
Player 5 Main 1
Player 6 Main 1
Wow ! By the time Player Alt 1 could do Killain, 3 more toons arrived. Thank you for asking Player 1 Alt 2 to wait for extra 3 or 4 hours and probably missing some boss fights for each of the two toons.
As long as Player 1 Alt 1 has not killed Killain, Player 1 alt 2 cannot queue .... Probably Player 7 Main 1 and Player 8 Main 1 will arrive for queue too.
Result of this => Player 1 Alt 2 won't have any chance to do Killain.
At the end of they day, TOONS are receiving XP and not the players !
