i just reached lvl 111 and I am eager to know what the best ranger build is at this lvl to lvl quickly, what stats that has
and if bow or spear is better.
some items i have using bow
arcane quiver of beasts,
lvl 100 bow,
full lunar,
heroic ammy,
and 10 energy regen brace,
minor wyrmfang brace,
grand charm of needles,
greater charm of farsight
grand sharpen weapons
royal longshot,
grand longshot
and grand silverweb longshot

Bow is best. Use double shot and longshot for sure and sharp shot is decent in comparison to other skills so use that. Then you'll probably want points in light heal, for you know, healing yourself. Find a good mix between str and dex, I'd choose to favour str, and have a sufficient amount of health. Stuff requires testing, farm and invest in some books. It's always best to do things how you like rather than what someone dictates at you(unless what you like is highly inefficient )

There is almost no wrong way to play a ranger. i have found having roughly equal str, dex and vit (raw, not counting equipment) works for the way i like to play. but extra str or dex can serve you well too. a lot depends on how you play your ranger.

as for skills and leveling: bolas and light heal for certain (at least for me). I like Longshot for leveling too. it is nice to have one of the buffs (sharpen is fast, but steady increases attack and damage). as for the last skill, it kinda depends on your build. Sharp shot is nice if you have high dex and some good equipment. if you are more str based, then dbl shot is great. if you are not certain, you might try both at various builds and see which works better for you.

I believe that for this level you are nearly forced to be skills based ... Meaning a dex ranger.

Longshot is good if you max it out
Barbed shot is good if you have gear to boost it past your natural max
Sharp shot is not really good at this stage .. You need gear to boost it up really high
Sharpen weapons is excellent
Steady aim ... Meh
