First thing's first, I usually don't make topics on the forums as it is just a game to get this political but I'm hoping to steer the server back in the right direction or a new one we all agree on. Basically I know everything that has happened even from months back, but I choose to keep quiet. So I think I have the right to comment on this situation. I'm also not on anybody's side, I don't care too much to that degree. But enough about my credentials.

Now, we all know the current rules are outdated and it doesn't fancy everyone's beliefs. Can we all as a server get together and update the server rules? (Notice how I said server and not clan) This should be done every so often to ensure most Lugh players are satisfied.
Rules that need to be revisited are things like DM rules, a player's level requirement for the involvement in server issues, reporting, etc.

Vote here for the idea and if most agree to work together to make changes then that can be discussed in another topic.

I tried to explain this in Wechat but people don't particularly like the truth and it was purposely overlooked.
We all know what a certain clan did recently, but other clans have done worse to the point where the game is unplayable to the innocent.

All the drama needs to be put in the past and we need to act like the adults we claim to be and try to satisfy all.

So this is just a proposal to change/revisit Lugh server rules.

Unless there will be proper discussions between all the clans spokes people with out a corrupt voting system nothing will change in the near future.

That's what I am trying to achieve. Any obvious child's play or treachery will not be counted or tolerated. And again, this post is just a suggestion vote to change rules.

While the server rules should and do need an update periodically a general over haul should not be done in one fell swoop. Is it my opinion that maybe taking one rule at a time and changing modifying it to suit the server as it stands now. Would be in the best interest of the server. One takes baby steps before one learns how to walk. With that in mind I would be for a change or modification of server rules if done properly and one by one.

Once again, yes this is just a proposition to agree to change them. How they will be changed will be later addressed once or if people agree. But honestly, the way things are going now, there's no time for baby steps. The sever changed so swiftly, so rules need to be changed in the same manner.

To many people have to many personal grudges for such an action to take place swiftly. Pushing for a quick decisive change to one or more then one rule will only promote a further unhealthy enviroment.

You're right. I was just implying that something actually needs to be done. And soon. Whenever someone posts something serious, some people (who mostly are the ones who have the issues) don't reply or take it serious.

To Randall, to my knowledge, many players feel like the rules should be updated. I think some of the top issues are the way the DM handles drops and his/her powers, the type of player involved in the governance of the whole server, the process of voting on certain things, et, etc. the list goes on. And I'm sure other players have more suggestions/input if they decide to say so.
