terrible idea. Lugh doesnt need a government its a game!

The council are the so called 'brains' of the people, they take the opinions of all and vote for the best for all. They need a mix of people who are from all different positions.

I was half kidding about the druids running it...

You don't necessarily need every type of player, because you figure that if the Council was really working, it would be working for all of us. And their Chief on the council would be representing their interests too.

You get too many people on this thing, if it ever did happen, and it likely wouldn't work.

This is not a bad idea. But may be very difficult to implement. Lugh has a great grp of players and a handful of not so great. Everyone has different opinions on lugh world matters. The biggest issue i see would be getting all to agree to terms that a council puts out. And, it would be time consuming for council members.

And yes, this is just a game. But many have spent alot of time and effort on it. The politics, economy, interactions with others is a major part of the game. So if you try to take that out, i thnk u deplete part of the fun.

Now, i for one, do not like the arguing, bickering , and greed but it will always be present when there is a grp of ppl together

But that's what this is. Getting a hold of the politics of the game. I would envision the Council as just handling major issues, not day-to-day mundane things. If you figure how much time is wasted during dicing because of ppl arguing and time wasted discussing feuds, it might actually give us all more time to play.

We could even set up a police force. Druids with rescue. If someone is breaking major rules, we just rescue them whenever we see them fighting.

On the other hand, if fewer people play as summer ends, things might just calm down on their own. More drops for casti.

Do we need a council?

Only thing that needs discussing is drops for dl items which has been done.

For me being told what I can and can't do will remove the fun out of it.

Cast u have a wonderful Idea but a politic idea is just to much. Lugh need to become a friendlier place not ruled by the players if something needs a price tag decide on a price everyone will agree on. And why police that's just gonna bring hate to people when the "police" hates the person. It's not worth. We will become unorganized and the worst world here

No council. It's a game. People play to get away from government and control etc. There are common etiquette and rules for drops. That's it. Just let everyone come online and play. Do whatever you want. Level, quest, chat, buy, sell, whatever it is that makes the game FUN. Don't ever forget the game is supposed to be FUN. It's an escape not a parallel.

It has become clear in recent weeks and days that Lugh needs the Council.

The high level druids of Lugh will restore order to Lugh.

We hope to make this transition easy for everyone and insist that everyone respects the first rule of the Council - you do not talk about the Council, especially if you are on the Council.

Resistance is futile.

Those who do not respect the rule will be subject to punishment by the new Blackstone Druids of Lugh, who will use Rescue and Calm to keep you from fighting bosses, leveling, or doing your dailies in the arena.
