@Basalt I have been told on Saturday at Hrunghir about the possibility of a script.

Yesterday I have experienced myself that a guy level 1 sneaked into my clan (did not find who invited him yet) and tried to persuade me that he was Callum so I make him a guardian. I kicked that guy right away. Btw, it was the same guy who was luring one of my clannie to the trust video mentioned before.

Obviously, I cannot post account names here, but I try to point you to the name by telling you that it was a name with Celtic and Trust in the account name in case you met that guy.

Anyway, the point is that it seems that any whisper could be faked unless the game developers patch it. I could only guess that a jailbroken device and some sort of a script altering communication may be involved.

I don't think there's a script, just some persuasion. It's just someone being able to convince a gen/guard that they are someone's alt and are granted access into the clan. Of course nobody would want to own up to that mistake since it's a big one but there isn't any scripts. If you put a capital i in your name it looks exactly like a lowercase L in the chat so that is what makes it so convincing and there's also another way where you can type something random and it fills up a whole line so your next line of chat could be written to impersonate another. 2 tips, first picture: If you hit reply and backspace up to the "L" in their name you may see the shift key being highlighted on your keyboard, meaning that it is really an uppercase "i" and not an "L"

Second picture: if you hit reply and the name shown isn't the one who was asking for the stuff then you know it's a faked whisper.

Just be sure to double check your friends and clan list to make sure it's the real person or if on an alt then to go on their main account as we've all been told plenty.
