Abstain/1/Akbar idea/1
On first vote I don't mind there are plenty of 180 plus peeps that are set up well with good dps although 185 preferred .
Re: Mordris: Vote on level requirements and dicing rules
#12Abstain from 1st vote yes plenty of 180 with good dps but 185 preferred - 1- aks idea- 1 But overall we want ppl to take notice of the plan and the hard work that has gone into all this in time we will have mord on farm just like aggy and then hopefully many drops for all who participate dont think oh im not lvled enough to dice for drops given time you will be. Took me a while to even get few decent drops off aggy!

Re: Mordris: Vote on level requirements and dicing rules
#181/1/1/1 is fairest
Everyone put the same effort into the fight. Sure some are more useful but a team is not based upon its strongest players its based on its effort in total.
I could be grouped to help but i do realise i do not roll until i meet reqs.

Re: Mordris: Vote on level requirements and dicing rules
#19First Vote: Level Requirement for DPS classes
1) 180
This is within normal and established rules for boss fights. I must admit that when i participated in test runs for the mordris battle at lvl 183-184, i felt close to completely useless, but that was mainly due to the fact that the priestess kept annihilating me, and she has now been taken care of. As I have reached lvl 185, a vote for a lvl 185 restriction would be too much like pulling up the ladder behind me;-)
Second Vote: Level Requirement for casters
1) 180
Of these alternatives, mages should have same lvl req as fighters. But shouldnt maybe druids be allowed at 175 like usual?
Third Vote: Dicing rules
1) Unrestricted. If you are included in the fight you are eligible to dice.
This is a repeat discussion. Although I have some sympathy for Akbars argumentation regarding the 185-190 gap, the whole concept of being legible for fight but restricted for drop dicing seems totally senseless.
Fourth Vote: When to include someone in the fight and dicing.
Alternative one is the closest to what I believe to be right of the three alternatives. But from the first takedown of Mordris i must say i dont like the being grouped demand. I was at the first fight from before start, but i did not find anybody who wasnt in full group and got no reply when i shouted who to group. With the current alt 1 demand, i would have to run around asking individuals for group untill i got a match, rather than contributing to killing the adds, and if i couldnt find someone before the first sentinel was pulled, id be out of the fight. This means i would be at the mercy of anyone who would bother to reply and group me. I also believe that the pulling of the first sentinel is too early for such a massive battle. Theres a lot of fight time between the pulling of the first sentinel and the mordris lock.
I therefore think that there should be a fourth alternative: Announced arrival before Mordris is engaged in battle.
