I really don't want dl items to go on sale. I don't want more people camping snorrie just to get drops to sell. Instead of selling them give em to people who need em.

Nobody gives people who need items anything. I've needed purple crowns longer than anyone on this server besides a select few and I still need them. At least if people were able to sell them they wouldn't hoard them in their bags.

You have a purple crown according to your post on the dl needs list, why not give it to someone who NEEDS it?

It's funny, only the people without full dl seem to oppose while the people who have their sets would like a purpose to keep killing bosses.

I think it would be great to sell dl, guarntee people would get more weps and a way better chance at killing necro

With the exception of crowns, I'm pretty sure most lvl 190's wouldnt mind getting rid of their inventory at a decent price while helping someone. Its impossible to prioritize who needs what over another person with so many players qualifying for DL drops now. I'm sure many goto clan first then friends but as u saw with the Alliance pic, eventually you run out of people who you 'think' deserve them.

Also, some bosses are over camped and over crowded leaving your efforts up to a roll of the dice. We can freely trade and sell the new event sets which i think are more important for high lvls at this point.

Keep ideas coming and hopefully more people will speak up. There will need to be significantly more voices before any decisions are to be voted on.

I'm avoiding the crown issue because i keep hearing a million gold and unless you paid a million or have something that is extinct, i dont see that value on any item.

The benefit from allowing sale of DL would definitely be seeing a few more weapons and off-hands equipped.

Similar to crests, people do accumulate extra yellow, blue, and green items over time (typically in the process of farming for red and purple or by default). At this point, items of these colors are fairly common. If sale of DL were aloud, I doubt people would be rushing to buy up all the extra yellow and blue eggs/urns/idols floating around. It's not easy to even find toons eligible to equip them.

With that said, DL sale puts these (non warrior/rogue) classes at a disadvantage. Why should the rogues and warriors clean up on the sale of extra (or even needed) DL pieces while the rangers, druids, and mages continue to pile up undesirable items.

Not saying I am for or against sale. I am simply pointing out a potential flaw to allowing it.

Again, I'm not really seeing the point in this thread. Since It appears that we have hoarders, then the sell of dragon lord items should proceed. Whats the point if all the items are in peeps or clan banks. Which brings up another point, dismiss all class based drops. If 3-5 items drop, then everyone should have a chance for that item. This will ensure hoarding doesnt take place. Peeps will have to trade and get the items moving. When I came back to play, I was informed that drops were being done this way to ensure high levels got equipped first. Thats a rediculous statement in itself. So your a lix hound, thats to be rewarded? Anyway, greed abounds as usual in Lugh. Started with Aggy and will always be around. Question, why couldn't items be sold at the same price as warden or frozen gear? +1 dl being sold, +1 for no class dicing. Just an aside, whats up with the term high level? Can we change to lix hound or something else. Sounds like peeps want some kind of honor for lixing to end game status.

I know for me I would be paying a lot for any items so I see why not u wanna make money its a good reason to farm etc I see no problem it will also add a large amount of new people with dl

Yeah if we sell DL drops we would see a lot more dl weps and offhands, but we would have to work on the prices for each individual item ofc not paying 1mil for a crown...

Sarge, I'm not sure why there seems to be some kind of animosity towards people of higher levels. Terms like 'lix hound' sound derogatory. Idk if its meant to offend but those of us who are higher level chose to be here for the purpose of end-game bosses. Mystery chests were introduced and that greatly increased the amount of lix available and new mobs/bosses increased gold. There was a priority for 'high levels' to get geared first because they were the pioneers of taking down the bosses. Then it was to eventually take down Mordris.

Those goals have been met. So I started this thread because its obvious that many players have DL items sitting in their inventory. I wasnt here for the start of frozen gear but folks said it was messy when they started selling crests. Thats why the choice to hold off was made. In my opinion and some others so far, it seems the time has come to be able to sell. Players no longer have to be forced to camp hours on end for drops when they are readily available. I do agree that drops should be diced in total not by class.

It's been my experience that only certain colors are being 'hoarded' simply because there are not enough up and coming players in those classes to use all those drops, while there is still a defecit of certain colors and drop types. My opposition to selling isn't about levels or needing to camp, I come from Epona where all drops were all class roll and all dl was sold from the start of the update...played a 194 ranger and 185 druid in that environment. If anything, there was more hoarding when people could try to get maximum gold out of each drop. A druid I knew had 4 purple crowns and was holding out to trade for 6+ greens or over a mil each. Sort of a slap to the face of people who have been dicing under these conditions and still need drops, to have it switched to a market where this is possible and likely.
