Helms and skulls are all skill-specific so can be class drops. Bracelets all have an ability attached so those can be class drops. It's only rings that have no class relationship. I think we can just dice class except for rings, where all would dice.

Agreed.
Note that the rings are not all DPS, some are Resist/Evade.

I think that i have to agree with longcool. Most items seem to be geared toward a specific class. Therefore, those should be class drop. The other items truly not class drop, all should roll.

Lets not let the drops ruin our kill of hrunghir. The journey should be more fun than the outcome.

A mage has just as much use for a damage ring as a rogue does for a mage-skill helmet: To sell, give to someone, or trade for something.

Heli -
1. ALL bracelets have either melee, cunning, or ranged combat ability. That makes all bracelets off-limits to mages.

2. Far more bracelets than main-hand skull weapons drop.

3. And many rings have only resists, not damage, which mages can use.

4. Dragonlord weapons for mages have damage and proc, just like frozen, that mages can use for auto. Thus making even a damage ring helpful.

1. I'm fine with mages dicing for braces, as they don't bind, which is a lot of my issue.

2. Not much to do about that.

3. If you'd read my posts, I advocated for damage rings to be melee class dices, not the armor rings.

4. In what case will a 180+ mage benefit from binding a damage ring and using it over a skill ring? When would that be better? The damage for mage in this case is the same as the possible 200 vit on a mage-skill helmet that a rogue could use. 200 vit could be very helpful. Also, I don't see you using any aggy damage rings over your current skill rings. If they could be so helpful, why are you not using them?
