People on lugh have freedom of speech. We may say what we are thinking, and no other player may stop that right.
This was a thread meant to announce a edl set, not to decide who has more knowledge of the game etc.
A set doesnt have to be announced every single time a set is gotten, for what little it means its pretty much spam. You can find out ingame if you really care who has a edl set, useless threads dont have to be made about it.

This is what I don't understand. There is no bragging of Rey being first edl set (grats and happy bday) nor there should be an argument of how it can be gotten effortless because if it were to be effortless don't you think more mages would have it? Grats neero on warrior set also:) and raijin, I understand how lvl doesn't matter when talking about knowledge but how can you know the high lvls so well when you never experienced going into the tower, beating the bosses, camping, and leveling up there. You can't go off what people tell you until you experience it yourself. So in my eyes knowledge is achieved through experience. Therefore your knowledge in the game to me is low besides prices, drops, old items. As well as my knowledge isn't so high since I'm lvl 178.
Ill answer this one for you. For reasons stated previously edl for mages isnt that good so id call it effortless myself. And level doesnt matter at all with experience. Time played generally beats level for experience. It's the people who've had time to figure out their class and find out whats best for them. But bossing is easy no matter what, and camping is brainless, just sit and wait. Not much in need of experience there. So to conclude it doesn't matter if your lv 1, 100, 150, or 200, thats just a number(which doesn't take any skill to get, only elixirs) the true experience lies in knowledge itself. And a side note, its kinda a waste to level anyway, theres always gonna be more grinding and camping(for drops that will be outdated sooner or later) so its actually smart not to level and avoid the gold loss on lixs.
So does rajiin know techniques to kill Unox mindrender? Revenant of anguish? Efnisien the Necromancer? Does he even know what some of them are? The fact is the higher level you are the more broad your knowledge becomes although a lower level might have a deep knowledge of the section of the game they have experienced

ROFL...EVERYONE in all servers! Stop the grind as per a "smart" player here it is dumb. Go sit it the castle and try to rip off other players of the stuff they are selling. Or focus on all the math calculations of gears, armours etc...
1st off, my prices are fair. 2nd calulating math for stats is the key to being good at your class, without it youll be blindly using gear(like edl). 3rd your gonna tell me camping hours, wasting time for no reason is better? Youll only get drops which you'll have to replace later and keep grinding to level, so yes leveling isnt smart.
Level do not matter? This level 1 toon should go up 5th floor of Gele and kill Unox? OMG...shm! You just ain't a part of this group of people anymore who enjoys killing bosses together in the efforts of gearing each other accross clans.
As i said, level doesnt equal game experience/knowledge. You should know a level 1 cant get to ow, so thatd be impossible ;) But with knowledge and levels, i know some really smart low lvs, and some really foolish high lvs too.
So, mage armour is crappy? What's ur beef with people who got it and who is tryna get it? What if i got it cause it is so pretty...LOL at least i have another set of amour with an awesome bonus...which u dont  whether it is dumb to have it not I HAVE IT! Woooooooooooooooot!
You think the bonus for edl for mages is good? Well thats your opinion, but its not the correct one.

Thanks friddo for continuing with my post. I'm curious why it was deleted as I was just stating what true knowledge is and I was congratulating neero and reytch on their sets. Why was my post deleted?

You didn't answer my query how can alow level know about EDL or dl which every high level knows about
I said some low levels know better then high levels, not all. But they can figure stuff out by observing boss fights, reading the forums, or asking people. But knowledge doesnt only pertain to boss fights, it actually is quite small on the experience scale. 98% of boss fights are all the same, just dps or dps tank and druid. The few bosses(like mordy and necro) take a little bit more tactic, but they are still easy. For camping, takes a very little amount to know where the boss is, and a little more to know when the times are but still not that much. I consider someone who knows about the games past and a good understanding of their class to be more knowledgeable then someone who just levels bosses and camps.

You didn't answer my query how can alow level know about EDL or dl which every high level knows about
i have a brother who is level 190. he has taught me all that i know in the game today. i've also existed in this game since summer of 2012. through years of playing you learn the classes and understand how to level with them. you learn which skills to use and which to not use. you learn how to merch, how to level, how to boss, etc. you learn how to maneuver around mobs when leveling or traveling to a raid. with time comes experience. as for bossing you fight one boss you fight them all. if you can fight the dl bosses you can effectively fight the edl bosses. if you fought mordis you fought hrungnir. if you fought garanak you fought the spider boss. yes, they have different skills but its easy to adapt and overcome. as a caster you have the luxury of being able to sit back a bit further, attacking from a distance, and missing any incoming aoe attacks. for the necro it is important to distance your self from him slightly during life steal. bossing is simply paying attention, having a pulse (hardly), and maximizing dps on the mob (assuming dps class).

dl and edl is simple. you fight the bosses, collect the colored drop(s), and roll for them. you collect the required drops, attain the req level, and turn in the quest for the armor piece, weapon, offhand. there's really not much to it.

my point is simple. level does not matter when it comes to experience in this game. its pretty arrogant when you're level 211 (yes YOU) and you think that just because you're the highest level mage you automatically know more than everyone else. pretty foolish in my opinion. every player brings their own unique styles and knowledge to the table. to assume you know more than others simply based on level shows how experienced you really are.

That last paragraph was a personal attack on me? Highly uncalled for and yet you have still failed to answer my question instead answering the statement i made about my question. I was a low level my whole ch time(since 2011 October) and only 1 year ago decided it was time to start levelling. So yes low level know tons about the game probably more than high levels when it comes to lower level things such as i can name every defector almost every mob in lirs etc etc
This isn't a question its a fact a level 220 will know more about the tower than you simply because of experience you might know more about every zone you can access but he will know more about tower and the things he has done in it such as dl tactics

Note he said mage. Not rogue, not at you. But I will say one thing, i noticed reading this. At lv 140 i knew things lv 180s didnt know for leveling tactic. I knew bear helms worked extremely well but no one else knew. So level doesnt always mean experience, nor does time spent in a zone.
