Magic identifies a scammer *Name Removed* or whatever and says nothing bad about him except for identifying him to Lugh and voldermort warns him for naming and shaming!? Come on ! We have a right to know who scams. And we know that them locking the topic is really so everyone will forget about it and they will do no investigation

Yes.. btw guys who says i didnt know hes a scammer, well i dont pay attention to that stuff cuz i know the scammers cant get me :) but anyway i do want to know exactly what it means when admins say they are "investigating" what exactly do they investigate? anyone who was ever scammed was only told in message form to be more careful in trades. this seems to be their answer for every scam. meanwhile the scammers may get a warning at most for ruining all a players hard work by taking their stuff.

"Do not name and shame other forum users. This includes accusing other users of acts such as scamming, account trading, kill stealing, or other dishonourable behaviour."
Taken from their "Forum Rules" link. As you can see, naming and shaming includes accusing others of scamming/account trading. So Voldemort was simply following the rules. :)
I too believe we have a right to know who scammers are, but the one who named the scammer renamed above did indeed break a forum rule that they should have read. So maybe let others know in a less public format? Or at least off of the forums.

The reason for this rule is simply because people can be falsely accused and harrassed relentlessly making their playing experience very bad, i do agree that we should be able to know who they are but thats what support is for, they are supposed to check every accusation in-game, the only problem is it may take a while due to numerous requests and accusations.

The forums are not the place to identify or report scammers.

Players should use the in-game support tool to report such individuals, and not post on the forums.
