How do you pronounce it? I personally pronounce it "Loo" like in flu. Just curious about how others think it is.

The u is like your "loo" as you mention, but short, and abruptly stopped by
The g is like the first g in "gang"

I pronounce Lugh "loo" just as I would pronounce the given name Hugh.

I think Akbar pronounces it differently, but my version is crowding out his in my head right now.

It is pronounced Loo.

The modern day Co Louth in Ireland is named after the same pagan God. In the Irish language it's name is Contae Lú ... The line over the u is a long stress (sinte fada) which makes it a loo sound. Check Wikipedia for more info.
