A Plan for Mordris
Posted: Sun Oct 27, 2013 12:52 pm
Since our first attempt, we have learned alot, Many thanks to all who have helped. What I am attempting to do is ouline a strategy, please offer up your inputs (being negative is fine, being negative without offering resolution ... you get the point.).
First, assign groups and group responsiblities.
Group 1 Three high level Druids, 1 Tank and the rest highest level DPS - I suggest no rangers in this group
Group 2 Three high level Druids, 1 Tank and the rest hig level DPS - Again, no rangers
Group 3 High level mix
Group 4 High level mix
Group Rangers
any number of groups dependant upon who shows up
**Note as we face Mordris, Mordris right will be our left Mordris right will be our right **** if any know the compass direction pls let me know and I will add
Each Group will have a leader who is hopefully aware of the strategy:)
Group 1's (and all odd # groups) responsibility Guards on Mordris right than Modris
Group 2's (and all even # groups) responsibility Guards on Mordris Left than Preistess
Rangers split between odds and evens untill Guards down than Mordris
Odd and Even groups 3 and above adds than Mordris/Priestess (odd numbers on Mordris, Evens on Priestess)
Battle outline
Odd groups to Mordris right, Evens to Mordris Left
Use the Kamanshi maneuver to draw guards out Starting with odds, when other guards run back then evens start
After guards down odds start Mordris, Evens start on Priestess draw them as far apart as we can
If during battle it is determined to bring priestess down, all but group 1 on her (ranger group have one or two stay on Mordris, the rest on Priestess), then all on Mordris
Note: We have tested the Kamanshi maneuver on each side, but not on both at with multiple groups, shoould be no problem. Timing should be real easy on this one
We may have to explain this maneuver, please see me in game
We will need the group captians to organize the groups and one person to oversee the battle
We will need to set a time for her demise
Friday evening Eastern Standard Time or Saturday Morning EST works best for me .... but this is not about me
Late arrivals - Annouce yourself and the person the group captain that needs you will answer or the person who is overseeing the battle will assign you
**If your hanging around to see the battle ... lend a hand and kill the adds
I look foward to bringing her down
Note to all the grammer and spelling police .... cheers:)
Side note: Drop rolling, who will be eligible and who will not be, needs to be agreed upon and a DM chosen Prior to starting the Battle
