''Rule''

I have seen many, many injustices on my time on lugh, but this is where i draw the line. Nowhere anywhere does it say 200 is locked at start. There was no vote from lugh on to decide this, this rule is just pulled out of nowhere and applied. Anyone who wants to challange me on this, show me any forum post that shows a vote, or even a suggestion of this. This is what is going to turn lugh into a dictatorship, and i for one will not let lugh fall into a dictatorship. You cannot just make up rules to benifit yourself, and especially after fighting over half the boss and then being told this ''rule'' that has never been posted once. You all cannot let the world fall down into darkness like this. Also id like my 3k spent on this boss or my dice chances for this. Anyone else think this is wrong? Post opinions

I agree i feel making a rule up (esp one where its locked as soon as u start the battle)without putting on the forums first just sounds wrong. theres going to be some people who are going to start thinking players are just being greedy

I also agree with Fury... I havent seen anything on the forums. Since we decide most major boss rules on the forum I am myself a bit surprised to hear of such a thing... No, I am not quite the right level to participate but trust me I will be very very soon. I have never heard of a boss being locked from start nor will I ever personally agree to such a rule. It does seem that rule is for those who want to camp and jump bosses not allowing others to be called in to help. It will set a new tone for bosses that I honestly dont like at all. I mean if we start with one boss it could very well spread to others and I dunno..... doesnt sound like a good idea at all. If ya'll want to have a form vote on this thats fine too but please do so fairly and not just surprise people with the info mid boss....

If 30-40 high levels all agree to a rule during a 200 fight, I would much rather go with that decision, compared to 10 random ppl all giving some half-arse reply on here.
Read the last 10 attempts on here of someone trying to propose a rule/solution and it just becomes a mess. Nothing gets solved on here anymore.
The fight lasts like 30 mins. Why would we want to allow people to show up after 10 mins when the rest of us have been going through a brutal idol fest since the start? We use this lock rule for mordy; it makes much more sense to use for 200, as well.
This is a big reason why the' multiple clans server that works together' system has some major flaws. We should probably just create a committee of respected players to decide this stuff on their own.

was able to do a boss once and it took like 20 mins for group to kill it. why are we doing this?
who decides on who these respected players are?
im really surprised at all these sudden changes...just wow!
could have at least ask for a consensus.

Heres my view on this. This boss has a spawn time that makes us have to camp a bit, and mordis is a set time, all know when exactly when mordy battle is going to happen. This bosses battle is due over a time, not at a specific time, therefore people wouldnt be able to instantly know and be there. Also on a side note, all bosses except mordy are on lock, including all event bosses. Also noting how this is a hard boss, wouldnt more people be a good thing as youd have more help, wasting less idols and such? Natan was a long boss and we never had this rule for that so why now? It would also be nice to allow people to dice because they contributed to the fight as well. Personally i was there for about 80% of this fight, using a energy elixir too. We had also voted on forums about class drop dicing, so why wouldnt we vote this, before enforcing it? And with no forum vote, you don't have everyones opinion, just the select few. Also if you were going to put a rule in effect, why wouldnt you post it on the forum for all to see instead of suprising them midfight? Lastly to the idea of having a select few deciding lughs fate, i very very strongly disagree. Lugh is a place where everyone has a say, and it always will be that place

Not all of us have the time to camp the last 10 event bosses. I have not heard of this "rule" and oppose it. This is a rule that smells of nothing more than exclusion,
Mordris take time to group and organize, Lock was agreed upon in forums as to when lock would occur, also it has been proven in Mordris, more is not better.
The wonderfull thing about a multiclan server is the diversity and cooperation of peoples from many different cultures, if that is a major flaw of this server than so be it, I would rather play in a "Flawed" world than a world dictated by a select few.
If the 200 boss had the proper amount of druids, an IDOL fest does not occur.
If this was decide in server, than the word has NOT been spread out, from where most of us sit it appears that only a select few annouced this rule and all who agreed were of the same clan (not trying to throw mud ... just telling my observation).
NO to the lock at start!

Though i agree with the fact that a rule shouldnt be made without putting it on forums ill give you the reason why 200 was made locked at start.
200 takes 10mins to lock, it can take hours to gather groups and require an obscene amount of people.
We discussed the rule during the first and second bosses without being put onto forums. This is the reason i didnt disapproce it. I agreed with lock at start, but didnt think it would go through without forum discussion.
Either way lock at start is the same or similar to mordy lock. Seeing as 200 is as hard if not harder than mord.
