I made this thread so people don't have to discuss in tobius's thread. Feel free to say anything regarding the ne voting system. Keep it civil please.

+1 to we chat voting with in game and forms used as well so everyone can have a say. Also if you aren't on we chat yet no one is stopping you from being able to join we have over 100 players new and old on we chat.

-1 to wechat voting, because I don't have wechat and I know people will say you can download it, but here's the thing, my point is I don't want to download wechat , nor will I, keep it the way it is in my opinion.

+1, Having to download weechat, is just another safeguard to ensure players that vote, actually care.(enough to download another app at least). And weechat helps somewhat making sure most people only vote once, which is harder on the forums.

It is a KNOWN fact that peeps make multiple Wechat accounts.

Who specifically, may I ask states who is *active/inactive players in game?

Is there a certified *in game PoPo* for this purpose?
I don't know of, or think anyone possesses this power, or should possess this Power.

Wechat is invisible to the general public. The rules must be out there for EVERYONE to vote on. You cannot pick and choose who gets to vote.

And for convenience its bad too. Just an extra unneeded step. Anyone can go to the forums, right away. Wechat must be downloaded, and you have to join groups. Just an annoying hassle im not gonna do.

1) I have never heard of people creating multiple Wechat accounts. Ont he contrary i have seen fake accounts in tzu' vote. Even if it's true that people created fake Wechat accounts the forums wouldn't be better either.

2)Everyone can judge that. If you see someone regularly in-game then that person is quite active. If you only see that person spam forums for example and no one sees him in-game then that person is not active. This is something the majority can decide(IMO) and isn't hard to conclude.

3) No there is no in-game police to check every forum/wechat account. But one of the pro's of wechat is that it is a little bit more personal then forums. Wechat is immediatly linked to your toon, because you already have to use a known name, or if you choose your own name it is linked by people to your in-game character. For forums all you have to do is create a new e-mail adress and voila... there you got your new forum account.

I think wechat is a better solution because it is harder to create a fake id and more active people and less inactive people that vote. These are the benefits i can think of so far.

1) What you exactly mean with the general public? Everyone with wechat can see the votes on the forums too. The active people just have a say on it and people who don't even play this server or don't even play at all don't really have a say in it anymore. Why don't we ask all other servers to vote on lugh rules? WHen you have wechat no one will be exluded. That's a promise from me and we already stated that at the beginning of the wechat-vote group.

2) Anyone with an apple device can download wechat. It takes 15 minutes(if it is a slow download) to download the app and will take a few minutes to get added to the necesarry groups. Up to you if you are willing to do that or not.

ofcourse this system is still in development so every input is welcome and will help improve it.
