Retribution moving forward with peace

#1
We have decided that all of the crap that happens in Sulis is getting rather tiring so we have decided to do our part to end it. Starting a few days ago we implemented a new policy on how the members of Retribution will behave. The purpose of this is to hopefully restore some kind of order in Sulis and to allow everyone to enjoy playing.

We will not be ksing anyone, we will not be griefing other clans. Our position on bosses is that they are all FFA fights. We will fight for lock. If we do not get lock then we will stop and not interfere.

We have not spoken of our intentions with any other clans because it just doesn't matter, this is what we are doing. Our experiences have proven that negotiation is futile and faithless. We are moving forward with this despite the actions of other clans.

I've thought more about this topic of yours, Phule.

I've concluded that it is in your clan's best interest to stop griefing, and only FFA on bosses. This is because you know that you can't be beaten in terms of DPS on Sulis due to the advantage that you've already obtained by doing things that you've stated you won't do in this topic. I also know that you realise that griefing between our clan's wastes everyone's plat, which your clan doesn't need to do since you can win them anyway.
In combination with this topic and the assumption that Jah won't win any bosses, and will be forced to resort to your usual standard, you will then gain favour with the clan Marauders and regain lost members, who without the Necromancer will be much more difficult.

I would like to hear more about this new policy. Is it OK to lock a boss that you can't kill to prevent another clan from killing it? Wouldn't this in effect be the same as griefing as your openly intention was to waste your opposition's plat? And how will this be of any benefit to Jah if the only thing that changes will be the fact that will be unable to grief when you lock a boss? (and hoard all the loot as you currently do)

And yes, obviously I realise this isn't a policy you expect jah to follow, and that also reinforces the conclusion that you're only doing this to get your lost members back. I truly hope that it's not the case that you're only doing this to improve your own clan's strength and genuinely want to make the game more enjoyable for everyone, however I'm sure everyone has doubts about your new-found kindness.

Like I said in my initial response, I do hope this lasts and Jah follows suit, but also that you stop being so greedy and talk to Bungle civilly about the clans' rivalry and how to reach a solution that fulfills everyone's needs.

I am not even going to dignify you with pointless banter. Think what you want, do what you want. Our reasons are our own and if there was any value of discussing it with jah then we would have. We are promoting peace, plain and simple.

No, you're promoting saving your clan's platand trying to make yourselves look like the good guys for the reasons I listed above.

If you were truly interested in peace and an end to conflicts between clans then, as previously stated you would have talked to Bungle rather than creating a policy that changes nothing other than the people's perception of your clan.

I agree with what rob said 100%

If You would of spoken to bungle he would of listened to what you say and inform all jah members of your intentions.....

The way you wrote the message just makes you look very arrogant and again you are not doing it to help other clans. Your doing it to save face
But if you want real peace you swollow your pride for your clan and to help your clan and show your real intention it show compassion and also that your looking to change!
I don't buy any of it for one second as a leopard doesn't change it spots.....!!!!!!

Gogaz, as I said to Robert, believe what you want but let actions do the talking.

As for talking to Bungle, the last time I talked to him about peace (he has never ever ever once approached me btw) I proposed FFA with no griefing. He flat out refused it. Why would I go back with the same proposal again? I even just whispered him in game and he is ignoring me.

We moved forward by ourselves, we welcome to Jah to join us.

Ok, I read what you said but I i find it hard to digest and belive what you say because you only want to do this because you want necro and your not looking out for other clans.
Your very selfish person you try to bully jah and always try and bribe jah members all the time and don't want to come!!! Because they see right though your crap!!!
Also there are ret members leaving because they are sick of your crap!
Also when you say you spoken to bung yes you have on your terms and not a neutral point of view and so again I find it hard to listen to your crap!!! But that's my view!

Wow, I do not know where you get your information but it is very very wrong. I promised Bungle long ago that I would not recruit anyone from Jah and I have kept my word. I have never attempted to recruit anyone and I would certainly never bribe someone. You can ask anyone in Retribution, no member has ever received anything just for joining the clan. Our reward system is purely based on showing up at boss kills.

You need to relax a little bit
