Any tips for a noob ranger?

So i made a ranger because im planning on making it my main and i wanted to know when i should switch from grimmlings bow to another . If not then should i just level and use the skills as compensation for the attack speed or if i should get heroic gloves . Right now im at a comfortable leveling speed of 3-4 levels a day and i heard that i should wait to use any lix till im level 80 . If i missed anything crucial please let me know
My ranger is level 40 atm

Try to switch to faster wep at lvl 50. Rangers have pretty high auto hits, use that to your advantage.
Try to buy a golden quiver if you have the gold, they are great.
DPS: Speed+Damage

Buy plat and buy all lux and lix use combos and spam res pot.
