Some insights I have from pacing the land

- Why do ships never arrive and why will they never arrive? Is this land simply a place where doomed pawns of the Gods go? Are we here because of our actions in a past life? Is this a place where heroes or villains are sent to change? Or realize their true potential? If we are heroes, why is it we assist each other in laying waste to this land then and all it's troubles? Can not nature solve them itself? Why must we feel like the heroes when we only conquer nature itself?

- Why do the village people have strong, experienced fighters who purposely choose not to fight the new arriving evils and threats that befall this land? Do they know something we don't? Have they experienced things we have not?
