The response we’ve had for the Open Beta for the iOS Destiny engine has been pretty phenomenal! Thanks for all you enthusiasm and help so far although we’ve still got a way to go.
Thanks to those already playing the Open Beta we’ve identified some key issues and got those fixed so you should notice quite a few changes in this new version. We’ve submitted the next version of Beta for review today. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to download Open Beta 2 just yet but you will still be able to play until the next version is released if you’ve already downloaded it. If you have applied for the Open Beta then please check your inboxes for invites and accept them so you can install the Beta once it gets through review.
We’ve had a lot of very positive feedback from the new Destiny engine and if you haven’t got on to the beta currently then fret not; we’re squishing bugs as fast as we can and it should be in general release very soon.
I’m sure some of the changes we’ve made for this year’s Yule event have leaked out and this represents just a small fraction of the scope of things that moving over to Destiny allows us to do.
I had a very interesting meeting about the Tower this afternoon where we discussed level progression and the quests that will be in place to challenge you once it’s released. We’ve also made some great progress on some of the adversaries that you haven’t yet seen. Perhaps a few images will slip out here and there before release...
Just to keep you going here’s a glimpse of some of the drops coming for Yule.
