I reached lvl 160 and wanted to max mastery before going on so I can make a lot of Bara’s, extracts are also expensive so I wanted to max proficiency aswell, I just noticed I have 600+ proficiency and I still can’t make bread on easy, so I have lvl 60 max proficiency and can’t make lvl 20 food without burning...
surprised a lot by this, with max proficiency do u still have to use extracts to cook fruit cake/baras/ caviar? It’s broken if you have to, what is even the point of it...

Even if you have maxed proficiency imo you should still use extracts. It doubles your chance of exquisites and perfects.

I’ve noticed this too, and wondered the same thing. The chance of something burning should shrink quickly as you level up. I’d think that by the time you are 50 cooking levels over the item in question, it should cook with a 100% success rate. Like Kitty said, people would still have a major advantage by buying extracts, but it would be a little more common sense...otherwise why even have that stat in there? Make it so it requires an extract to cook and be done with it.
