I have bought 10 plat for $1 multiple times lol but definatly didn't buy 100g

I kind of think they should do an auction house in the update. Have it to where you can post things for sell in a 1-2 day auction. People bid on it and then have the item and gold be transferred to either your bank in castle or to a mailbox of some sort. And should also have a currency transfer shop. Where you could trade 150 gold for 1 piece of platinum. This would keep people from selling platinum items and let everyone be able to get the platinum without having to spend real money. We all know not everyone can spend bookoo's of dollars.

I have never purchased 100g for 5 plat. It's a serious waste of plat.

As a business I mean. Clever for noobs to not know how much plat will buy/sell for and buy it, thinking they are saving and actually um they aren't.

hahahhaa yeah ive seen lvl 15 noobs with heroic ammy boots and gloves and i was like how u get those? they said i buy lots of gold from plat shop and i was like omg what a noob

Agreed...complete ripoffs. All gold packages are ripoffs, really, but the lower value packages are obscenely imbalanced. Even $100 = 4000 plat = 500,000 gold is too expensive. I have a good job and spend (too much) on this game, and even I'm reaching my tolerance limit.

Now that I think about it, I'm ashamed to have offered 1mil gold (that $200 value!) to buy a camo necklace. I'm soooo relieved nobody has accepted the offer yet.

There is another fact overlooked however..

The in game plat economy wasn't in place when these price models were made.

So this was laid down in the early genesis and then later the player community came up with a 150-250g per plat sliding marker that fluctuates for single vs bulk trades or for clanmates vs non-clan. So it's not like they are over cutting. They first cut, and everything else has happened later.
