I think that there should be a grand exchange in the castle. A place where you can put a item in and put a price on and anyone can search for a item and find a person selling it on a list and put money in the exchange and take the item they wanted.But if the item they searched for wasn't being sold yet, they could put a offer in and anyone who would sell that item for the price offered or less, would instantly get the money.And when the person who offered the money could pick it up from the exchange. Any questions?

You haven't heard of the plans of adding an auction house? (AKA Grand Exchange)

It irks me when people use Runescape only terms for this game lol, but anyway, this is already in the works and planned for next game update (not patch) I believe.
