My vote is to keep them, kind of breaks the monotony of seeing same old stuff.

Basically, here's what I think:

Fairy and goblin charms go. Too many people bought them just because they thought that they would be leaving after the summer event. Refunds wouldn't work too well for those who bought their charms from other people. (Yes, ,I was one of those who bought almost every charm because they were leaving, then bought extras from other players.)

Future charms: Stay. Don't advertise them as limited time charms, and there would be none of these problems. Maybe move them to the plat store after a while, like community suggested.
Or: Have the occasional birthday charm that does leave, just for the sake of a few more rares.

Just be sure to release more charms with lots of variety quickly... I would love to be an evil eye!

EDIT: On charms that are leaving, make it clearer that they are going to leave. Many people don't read the text and just go into the shop.

If you do decide that they will be leaving, be sure to send out an in-game message to all players a few days in advance so that they don't complain they didn't know they weren't permanent.

Honestly, I think that the crookback and faerie charms should not stay. Reasons why?
Well first, many people bought them, thinking that they are not going to be permanent.
The crookback charms and faerie charms look really cool, so they should be a rare cool looking fashion charm.
The charms will be more cool, if they were rare, just like the masks and carpets.

So, what I'm getting from all of these posts is that there are some who want more variety in character looks and want all of these charms to stay, and then you have the folks who have hoarded items trying to turn a future profit who want them to go. All of the people whinning about getting a refund, do you really expect to keep your charms "and" get a ton of money back for free in the form of a refund? Lol. The devs are trying to make the game better and all you care about making a few $$. Sad really.

If the charms stay, the prices should increase heavily, but i would like them not to come back for a long time, or mabye never. If items dont ever come back it makes them really cool to have, but if they are easy to get or come every year, they just arent a priority to get.

No, you know what's sad? False advertisement. It's illigal in real life so why is it okay in a game? Everybody gets f***ed over.

Who said people will resell them? I have 4 charms in total but I baught them so I can wear them, not make a profit off them. And so what if people do? Nobody is more for a charm than they are comfortable with if they buy it at a later date.

So if im wearing them, why do I care? Well I dont want to look like another person in 7 months from now. An event item is rare and it should feel rare. Can you imagine if you were the only one in all of CH wearing some sort of warden armor? You would feel special wouldn't you? Well you don't now, do you?

Edit: i'll give you an example and no matter how mich more extreme this is, it is still the same kind of thing...

A lux item at the vendor value of 1000000 gold (one million gold, thats right. A three-month grindfest worth) has the stats of 100 pierce, 100 slash, 100 crush damage and 20 rejuv. Oh and it's a pair of boots. So 8 people in each world buy it only to find out it has the stats of 1 magic damage and 5 rejuv. It's alright, just a game...That falselly consumed days of your life.

It's all good and nobody should be angry because only some people have it and not everyone. And the people who baught it, well...um...they have no right to be angry either, they should have seen it coming from this company since it's OP and it's better for everyone else and not just the people who baught it first. The only way it is okay is if you get a refund, especialy if the person baught plat for that gold.

On second thought, I think the fairy / goblin charms should go. Why? Because that's what you said before and people acted on that information.

Just make other new charms that will be available permanently or tell people it's temporary (like the carpets), then none of these controversy because you had full disclosure. 6-pages of feedback and you have a divided vote. What did you expect anyway? All votes usually ended up with both fors and nays. Just stick to your original plan.

I didn't think people cared so much about the charms .
