Idk why so much fuss, broom or not, i bet the new item will likely be better in terms of stats... Making the old brooms rare but a lot less desirable

No, brooms should not be brought back. Some people spent a lot of money on one after it became rare. And if it comes back, it wouldn't be fair.

Regardless if you spent a sh*t ton of money on past brooms or other items doesn't mean that they shouldn't be introduced back in. What admin is saying is that if they make unique items every single event they will hit a point where they cannot come up with any more item ideas. A broom was last year. A bat this year. A skull next year. A goblin the following. You catch my drift. All the ideas past broom sound stupid for a halloween event. There are only so many items that can be created that fall in line with a particular holiday. Admin would get to the point where there would be nothing halloween related left to create. IF we reached that point and you guys still wanted a Halloween event, admin would have to create a couch mount or something equally ridiculous.

Admin they are bitter that items that once had high value will decrease slightly. This can't be helped. They are still equally rare due to the item description. People just perceive them as less rare when they look the same regardless if descriptions are different.

My advice to everyone... IF you do not care about the description and only looks, you had better sell your brooms now before they lose even more value..

For the record I bought 5 basic brooms no speed when they were first released. I sold 4 for a profit. And kept 1 for collection sake. This is what you all should be trying to do.

ergh... Bat wings (like someone already mentoned), Death's scythe,an undead horse, a were wolf, pile of bones (to be stood upon like the carpet), sit inside a carved out pumpkin, use a cross like gravestone as a Pogo stick, cook yourself in a floating cauldron, Feathered wings. Not to be necessarily used but there's some ideas and 10 years worth right there. Does there even need to be a mount? like couldn't there be a Ghost Charm? a zombie Charm? a Skeleton charm? etc that give you stats not just a fashion accessory?

This effectively ruins the rare market which is something a lot of people look for in an MMO, it would do more harm than good.

If OTM claims they will run out of ideas then the company may as well hire a new content team because the current ones are unable to think outside the box.

Okay there are like maybe 7 brooms on rosmerta and if they aren't it well disappoint Alot of people. Make the little greedy broom holders happy or disappoint most of the game?

But i will said again customization of previous items/mount/armor to make better and hold rareity value even if same mount or look like are introduce.

If a mount can be customizate every year making more powerful even if they sell the same broom will be weaker then a customiza broom from 2011. And newest model can become rare customizate every year .....

If you screw players of 2011 you will loose a lot paying customers.

By the way im expecting connarcth armor to come soon in charm version ( I own 3sets). But i will like to see the original armor to be able to be put as fashion but retain armor value.
