I would like to see mounts that are JUST mounts. No more novelty mounts that take up your main hand slot. I like the weapons that I have, I just want to move around on something. I dont want my mount to be my weapon.

Since u STAND on a carpet with ur FEET and not with ur HANDS means that u can wear a WEAPON in ur HANDS

You have to use your hands to keep balance, doing this with weapons would be way too dangerous!

U can balance with ur weapons
And imagine if u fal of ur carpet on the hot lava u can stick ur weapons in the ground and balance on them so u dont get burned

The problem with using weapons while on carpet (for instance) is that carpet also attacks. It could be sort OP to have additional dmg added, plus wpn dmg, no? If carpets were just carpets, it would be a diff story. Then it might be necessary to have a separate equipment slot for "novelty" items.

I think that I read that pets/mounts can level up or something. If that's the case, level could influence the speed as well as the species.

Example: level 3 horse is faster than a level 4 baby dragon but slower than a level 4 horse.

I honestly think that mounts/sled/broom/carpet should be placed in the fashion section. For what I know, you only need to use your feet to ride. Your hands can still hold a weapon.
