Unless you are a druid or mage the camo broom will not be anything other than a travel aid. As soon as you equip your weapon you lose the camo effect.

This event is full of anxiety. You all have a very limited time to collect those 3000 pumpkins, 400 bats, get lucky in groups and come away with 40 drops for no trade armor sets, and grinding hundreds of thousands more gold for that special lux item.

Forget about any of your alts.

That's anxiety! This event should be kept through the holidays.

And this is exactly why I fly around on my 500k broom. It gives better regain then my magical book of fairytales and a great speed buff. Also, the camo works great traveling having meditate and energy/health regain when I'm in boss fights and allowing me . The tanks love it because I hardly ever have to call out for add, allowing them to focus more on bosses. I usually use it for when I'm boss hunt in sv and lirs and only bring out the big guns (book and diamond icon) when I'm up to a tough and even then I still switch back and fourth.

It will only get better when I get my hero ammy and the rest of the regen I need.

I simply love the brooms for druid. Just thought I would throw that out there.

I would love to hear why you love the brooms specifically for us Druids. They are great transportation and for people without camo they have that as well. But as damage is based on strength and not focus, and as there are no stats to raise spell power on the broom, any druid who can afford the broom likely has both the diamond totem and an offhand grimoire or orb (a combination that significantly outstrips the broom in terms of spell power!).

The broom did stack with camo charms but immediately was nerved (which is unfortunate I do not see why that nerf was warranted of a 1million gold broom - even if it was unintentional, it could/should have been left). As someone with both the golden camo and mill gold broom, I would ditch my golden camo in a heartbeat of the broom was made competitive with say, the diamond totem/wand and master grimoire offhand. Then I would always have my camo on due to the broom. But, if the broom stays as something only intended as transportation for druids and mages (which it obviously is as a couple hundred grand worth of gear -diamond totem/wand and orb/book seriously outperforms in battle and costs about 700,000 less) I will be forced to either always wear the golden camo (wasting a that charm spot when using the broom) or swap the golden camo in as soon as I unequip the broom (ADMIN, you have to see that this creates a tedious and repetitive chore for your players who buy the million gold broom!).

Overall it looks like this is going to be the last major event we are going to run - the event has taken a couple of man years of work in total to create and release, and since it has proven very unpopular, in future we will put the effort into updating the live game and stop running these big events.

Yes you are absolutely right, i have both a totem and book, but I'm not running around swinging them. I'm a pure support build with no investment in attacks. I only use the broom as an enhancement to me being able to support better. I understand that a dps druid might not like it, but, as I am sure you know, dps druids are a small fraction of the druid community. I explained above how the broom helps me support better and how it doesnt just benefit me, but my group as well.
