#7Keep an eye on the beta forum, it shows most recent post as of June so when that starts getting posted in we can assume beta has been picked.

#8Last time, they sent emails to the beta testers they selected, AND to the people who didn't make the cut. If they do the same, you will know as soon as everyone else, if you are picked or not,
