Once again fromen, your logic, is mental. Every class should be overpowered in each of there own way. Rogues have dps, warriors have armour and health, mages have lures that make there spells nukes, druids are overpowered at keeping people alive, and rangers are a mix of everything but warrior. It's like that for a reason. If your a dps warrior you definitely chose the wrong class. That's why I switched almost a year ago. I was DPS warrior a year ago and hit lvl 90. Noticed lvl 80 rogues were outhitting me. So i made a rogue. And yea im prolly in top 5 best dps of all servers. Why? Cause i changed to a rogue. Rogues are dps fromen. Get that concept through your head. Warriors are tanks. That's how it is.

You are ok , all other mmos warriors have a path you choose to be a protective warrior ( tank) or to be normal warrior ( (hybrid) or you can choose to be lite armor warrior ( dps /rogue) . I mean this is the only game were warriors are tank only.

Its my theory that a new update we waited forever for should wipe the slate clean. I think the new bone armor that comes out should have a 150 restriction and be better than earthstone. As someone who has lots of earthstone pieces, I dont want to see it anymore. Let the game evolve and earthstone be useful only for those under 150.

Warriors do need a boost in damage though as DPS warriors are a joke. Rogues should have OP DPS as said previously but warriors should have the option to be good dps as most other games give them. Pretty much just so they can train and switch it up now and then. Maybe they will add some good Two Handed weps for this purpose that make warriors lose armor to balance it out.

This game only has 5 classes. CH is a simple game aimed at beginner RPG players, thus the roles of each class are more defined. It's not as robust and complex as other MMOs classes. Perhaps in the distant future CH will get there and allow a class to have multiple paths.

+1. It even made me laugh when the colors were listed out when you talk to the Diamond Wep guy lol. Regal(Purple), Battlemist(Red), etc.

They're not only tanks, they can be hybrid. But as to why they can't be dps is because this game doesn't use skill/talent trees. There is nothing in this games system from using giant swing and protective stance in same build, so if warriors can't choose between dps and tank, because many would be OP.

Same reason that rogues can't be support or even a decent mini-tank, because we would be able to use our sneaky attack in same build as any survival skill otm gives us rogues.


Maybe a solution would be skill level caps being based off of stat points instead of level.

(These numbers are just examples)
So a warrior upgrade protective stance past 15 without 100 vit. And they can't go past 25 without 350 vit. Etc etc

Same would be for rogue and warrior dmg skills like sneaky and giant swing except with str.

And reflexes, poison, and possibly the life drain skill rogues are hoping for would all require a certain amount of dex

Rogues and rangers are the melee dps classes, their endgame quest armour should be the best dos armour

Mages should have armour that makes them freaking nuke machines

Druids should have armour that makes their heals truly amazing

Warriors should have armour with protective damage, like a built in cloak

But rogues and rangers should have the top raw dps, with rogues in the front

As a half dps Druid I use my es armor more than my frozen. It would be a waste if my dragonscale armor would be the same and just sit in my bank for no purpose also except for healing at a boss. I think dragonscale armor should add some damage to all classes and the dps classes get more than the others. I agree rogues should get the top dps gear, rangers second, warriors (sorry fromen) and mages third and Druids last.

For example rogues add 250 damage and a speed bonus to their full dragonscale armor. Rangers add 200 damage and a defence (or dex) and attack bonus to their full dragonscale armor, mages add 150 damage and a fire and ice lure bonus to their full dragonscale, warriors add 150 damage and an armor boost to their full dragonscale, an Druids add 125 and a healing bonus to their full dragonscale armor.

This would allow all classes who want to be dps the chance to be dps but rogues would be at the advantage as dps and still allow others to utilize their gear to best suit them.
