I watched his video...on my TV! I just pawn that much. ;p

Anyways, I thought it was stupid. (for Infinity) I was like you get 32k ish left over but THEN you have to split it to someone else too?? Waste of your time. =/

But otherwise I wish I was on your world because i wanna play. xD

Yeah lol it wasn't much of a profit... Yeah so last time I took 20% and then I split that with my buddy sirblaze333 because we had to physically go out and find people to buy tickets... Also it was the first time I had ever done a lottery so I had to explain the concept, then explain how it worked, then I had to talk them into buying a ticket, then I had to sell them a ticket (they just trade me over 2k for free and tell me what number they want)
I wasn't even going to keep doing it until the mail system came out. Now I am taking 30% and I'm doing it solo.
And since everyone now knows about the lottery it will be easy to implement again. All that people have to do now is send a letter with 2k and a guessed number between 1-10000 to my character "lottery" and then I just collect the money and and post the number they guessed on the forums and then send a letter back with the link to view the list.
At the end of the week ( probably every Sunday ) I will use the random.org number generator and choose a winner and then send them their winnings!

So the first week we ever did this.. And had to physically collect ticket money and numbers and we had to tell people how it worked and all that crap.. We still ended up pulling in like 88k or something like that.
Then the pot was like 67k...
But now with the mail system going on we will be able to accept money 24/7 and can also advertise extreemely easy.

Your way is boring. I would rather buy a lotto ticket for real money and when I win convert to plat and gold. Godzlas method is actually fun to play. I second this being moved to world forum. Your about to stir up scammers copying you. Also, if this is all your world has to offer to make it "the place to be" I'll make sure to stay put.

Scammers can't copy me... Nobody else but me can do this. UNLESS they have a ton of trust and rapport with everyone in your world. Trust is the key to success for the lottery, I feel like I'm trusted pretty well and I feel like people trust me enough to give me their money for safekeeping.
As for scamming...
Honestly... It's a game... But there's always a right and wrong choice in life.
I would prefer to have no gold and no items and keep my name untarnished rather than have it all and have a horrible reputation.

I agree with Infinity. There are people who have a mindset that this is just a game and wouldn't care for honesty. On the other hand there are people like Infinity and myself who would never do anything to tarnish the reputation we've worked so hard to earn. All throughout Rhiannon since I've started playing I've done many transfers with amounts of items i would kill to have but it would only take one scam for everyone i knew to never trust me again, and this goes for Infinity also which is why he has my complete trust. I for one do plan on taking part in this new lottery system. For the others who plan on participating too, please be careful for any imitation characters trying to copy the name "Lottery" and be sure to spell it right so your gold isn't sent somewhere by mistake.

I appreciate your post. Hey and just so you know all the info possible so you don't send your gold to the wrong place.
Here are some things you should know:

1-The account lottery is named "Lottery" and it looks exactly like that.
2-The account is level 11
3-The account has full set of Connacht vanquisher armour equipped with a pumpkin wand
4-When you send in your payment and lottery number you will recieve a receipt letter back with a link to view the list of numbers guessed.
5-If you don't send an accurate amount of gold for the tickets you want then you will be refunded the gold minus the cost of the mail stamp.
6-Tickets cost 2k each
7-with every 2k sent in you should attach a number between 1-10000 that you guess.
8-You will recieve your winnings in the mail
9-You will NOT recieve a notice letter if you lose
10- I take 30% of the total pot ( think of it as a tax )
