I started playing in early october 2011 and have worked my butt off to get where I am today. A level 150 rogue on mabon. It has been a very enjoyable relationship but its hitting that stage where either i'm just not attractive to you anymore or your not attractive to me anymore. Its almost becoming an effort to play you every day.

I have felt this way for a while.. maybe a couple months.. maybe the moment I turned 150. But I think your starting to feel the same way. What am I talking about? Yes, from my little story here you have obviously concluded that I am refering to target lock.

So many people have asked you to not implament target lock but you have decided to 100% put it into the game regardless of how most of your playerbase feels about it. My first thought was hm maybe OTM no longer loves us and they are throwing in the towel. But instead of just ending it you guys want to make us break up with you. Pull thee old switcheroo.

Your plan is to make yourself so unnattractive that you want us to break up with you so you don't have to break up with us. That way it makes it look like our idea. So even if OTM is still the loving caring group that gave us this product that we enjoy so much, you have to disguise it because you don't want to be the one ending the relationship.

After all, its bad for business.

So please..tell us the truth..Is target lock your plan to end our relationship?

There was no way I would have guessed target lock, maybe the release taking forever? But never suspected target lock.

imo the current system is fine. target lock will be a spectral hole . (just like my school is )

Dont say anything and about the target lock until you have seen it in action, prejudice is a bad thing for all people as it narrows their point of view and will be bias towards that side.

Target helps those lowers lvls to not be ksed at a boss, imagine a lvl 180 coming to SV and killing all the bosses solo, it is already possible now. There benefits outweigh the cons, target lock is already in the game atm (50%) and it will be moved up to about (80%, dont take my word for it). Currently id like too see 2 rouges both 150 with the same gear kill ragnor but one rouge to have a 20% head start (target lock not in action) now id like too see the second rouge ks the first one. You wouldn't be able to do it so target lock wont make much of a difference to those of the same level, but will make a massive difference to those of a wider range of levels. This is the main reason, you really don't want a lvl 180 rouge running around ksing all the lower levels on the red bosses and sv ones.

It is not a bunch of crap accept change dont judge until you have tested it out. The only reason why you guys are complaining it is because it prevents you all from camping with your level 150 and alt for those dragon discs and mind tabs and sell at good amount. Lets be honest some of you know this is the truth and to be honest the truth always hurts when it is said so please just give it a try and if you dont like the target lock system after testing then you can blame the OTM.

As others have said, when the update goes live, thoroughly test out the target lock. By this, I mean don't just kill one mob and say 'I tried it, it's bad'. Instead, kill a few bosses, try and have a bit of competition and then post evidence to OTM why you still don't like it if you don't. It is still competition to obtain the target lock too. Not everyone wants it, but in the same way not everyone doesn't want it.

I think target lock will ruin it for me lol,today I got into 3 OW bosses,real stonefang and falgren.

(also some how me,a lv150,110 and 100 were attacking and I got the aggro from him,the lv 150 was mage and 110 was warrior and I'm only 60,this makes sense since I was autoing him and I got no lux or scav items.)

no one moaned that I was only lv60 and we enjoyed having a good time like the good ol days.let's just hope there are bosses for us low levels.

Get my drift? The main audience who are against the target lock are the people who can ks! This is to avoid ksing and to give the lower levels a chance at bosses against the high levels. Its to avoid a group of rogues attacking a boss midway through the fight and stealing it.

All those people who are opposed to this should have patience and test the lock for a week before complaining to OTM. I suggest remaking a character and testing the lock feature against the higher levels for a boss.

Also as a note the majority of the forum users are devoted players, they are high levels who play often and can ks when needed. Who is the voice for the lower levels? Obviously not them, the beta testers have been hard at work testing and perfecting this lock for everyone, not just the high levels.
