Re: Forced to buy plat to play

The issue i have is i bought sigils based on what they did at the time. I never would have bought 600 of them if they did not serve a purpose. Thats the problem and the concern we all have and why they removed them from store. We spent money for something, and now it has changed. Say you spent money on a 65 inch tv, and a year later the company comes to your house and takes it away and replaces it with a 32 inch one. This is how I feel. I paid for one thing, and it was changed without my concent or permission. The game is not the same, not only harder, but not as fun now. Please fix the Sigils!
What they have with sigils is..TEMPORERALLY taken them out the shop to fix them, so you have not been scammed in any way, its only to stop people from buying the broken ones..
Fionn dies..so you don't have to.

When were they ever broken????
They worked fine, they noobed them by making evryone in combat all the time.
Personally, if you buy 1000 sigils, you deserve not to run out of energy, I agree with fionn that they are changing things to allow for more ways of getting cash flow.
Don't changethings, add new things for your cash flow isseues if you have them, it's unethical.

I'm no even going to bother reading this comments because its not really important, but this is 100 % true.

There is a game out there with much better visuals, by a bigger company which I like to call Cashaloft and even they don't dry to drain your cash as much as OTM.

I think the reason this game is so bad is because one thumb mobile has made the primary way to level is to kill mobs, and unless you buy elixirs it takes ages to get to the higher levels or even the best gear.

The main way to level should be quests, but OTM has repeatedly avoided the question, why isint it? I've spent around $600.00, not as much as you, but that definitely a good substantial amount to spend on a high end MMO on my PC, not my mobile phone, OTM need to get their priority a straight, money, or their players.

maybe otm MEANT for players to spend money on the game
it would be completely stupid if otm didnt want its players to buy plat
if nobody bought plat otm would become broke

but otm wanted its players to decide exactly how much they wanted to spend on the game
so they made it free and let the players make ingame purchases

No. That's completely inaccurate. A game that lets you decide weather to play play or not would be a game that lets you spend real money to buy Vanity Armor or Fashion, things you don't need. However one thumb mobile does not have any other way of letting its players obtain premium items that are necessary, such as Health Potions, Energy Potions, SkillSkots, Sigils, etc, you have to pay for all of that, and as a former big play buyer, I thin spending a sum of $600.00 or more dollars on a MOBILE game should get you a lot more than it currently does.

You say a few bad changes, but I can't believe you think things like sigils were an oversight, they obviously changed them in the hope no one knew and didn't realise why they were running out of energy.
They just over nerfed them and people caught them out. No accident.
I have sigils, yes I run out of energy, yes we had it one way and now it is different. My question to you and everyone complaining about sigils... why do you think energy sigils should work when a druid is healing? Isn't battle considered battle no matter if your doing damage or supporting? Health sigils don't work in battle, neither should energy sigils in my opinion. Just because your support and not doing damage doesn't remove you from the fact that you are " in a battle "
I am reposting this from one of my other posts as it addresses your question directly Elvra.

Sigils were sold to us as a product that worked out of combat. That meant we could use them while healing and buffing but not while attacking. OTM made the decision to change what was considered in combat to break this agreement without actually changing the product description.

This does not make it acceptable. It was done on purpose but we were not provided with a viable alternative to maintain our energy after they stole our money in the form of now useless sigils.

As much as I'd love to agree with you, i only support this halfly.

The items purchased from item store (except sigils) you can buy off players for ch gold. I have bought tons of lixes recently and restores - my problem was i couldn't use sufficiently by soloing sooooooo i got a group together. The game is about teamwork and working together - its not meant for soloing.
Hence mmorpg :)

I will pose myself as an example. I have paid 1 count it count it. 1 dollar on CH! I have supported the game of course through itunes gift apples. But my money spent is 1 dollar. I mean that may sound terrible and unsupportive but i just like to save my money. I hope OTM doesnt eer think bad of the playerbase that plays "free"

Now to my point . Im an extemely successful player in CH . I am in the top clan in my world and am over level 150. I "earn" all my plat items by saving gold up and buying from sellers. Now this plat strike does affect me veryyy heavily but i still enjoy this game , and will continue to put itunes apples into this game. Its that good! :)

my understanding is the product description has not changed. game mechanics change all the time when updates are released for all big MMOs. this change is for the better of the future of the game IMO. I would much rather have a healer, or be a healer, who knows how to throttle during important fights or when leveling versus having a gimp healer that just spam heals because they have mommies credit apple at hand. this change will separate the people who know how to heal from those that think they do.

See the fact you have 500 sigils confounds me because if I was in your position I would honestly be royally POed lol. The thing is that people (including you) spent money for sigils they way they worked before update 4. I agree mages are great to have as energy support but that doesn't relate to the issue of we want our sigils to work again. I would say my misinterpretation has evidence to support you don't play nice. But by all means be amused :)

I will put this in terms that can fit into your analogy. In Celtic heroes you have a battlefield, there's a squad consisting of a couple medics (healers) a flame thrower dude (Mage), some machine gunners (dps) and a guy with body armor, a target on his back, a hat on his head that says general, and on top of that he is yelling yo mama jokes at the enemy (tank). Who's the enemy gonna shoot? Well let's assume the enemy loves his momma, he's goin for that body armored general. You can say they throw a grenade (aoe) the gunners (dps) might die but the armor protects the 'general' (tank) and the MEDICS are out of the blast range so they safe. Okay? Okay :)
in real life medics don't stand 20 feet back to "heal" the wounded
In real life medics don't have natures touch, so why not leave it to in game tactics that have been overly nerfed.

Furthermore I have read this whole thread, you know what I don't see? OTM doing what there best at and not responding with any friggen answers!! So defensive position, no reasons why, nothing. Which is what it seems there good at. Lets not communicate with our customers and hope they forget.

Hey OTM I am officially calling you out! Give some answers or reasoning behind your developmental money inspired NERF update!
