Celtic Heroes

Hey guys (and gals), i have having a hard time deciding on which to go with. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. Please reply to which you think i should go with and for what reasons.

Also if mage then fire or ice??

I like Mage better. You worry about stats less, because strength does nothing and dexterity does little. I just split points between vitality and focus. I'm not really focused of fire or ice. I have 13 points in ice shards and fire blast and a couple points in both ice and fire lures.

I would say ranger over mage. Ability to solo in this game become more and more important as you level higher and ranger has the ability to even solo a small boss. They did get nerfed in terms of dps, but I still think light heal and bolas can cover the disadvantages.

Rangers if you like soloing and trolling your opponents.
Mage if you want to throw some decent nukes.

Unlike the others, I actually play one of the classes mentioned. I'm a 160+ Ranger. Don't play Ranger. Go Mage. There are lots of threads that explain why Rangers are a bad class.

Well I only have a lvl 102 ranger and 99 Mage. I'd say rangers do have an advantage if you solo alot but you do need a bit of energy regen for them to be better than mages with energy shield. Overall mages are more powerful and are more useful in groups - though bolas in a group is still pretty good. People say rangers are bad but its mostly because of recent nerfs they are still useful characters IMO.

If you go Mage I'd recommend going fire for at least the first 100lvl you will get better dps.

I'd say ranger. I actually have one and with 1 regen i can play more efficient than a mage with the best of the best gear/lux
Why?
Mage: good damage and support skills but takes a lot of energy and is pretty expensive/hard to play ( my experience ).

Ranger: very good for solo, moderate damage, some support skills,awesome healing and massive auto attack ( well,mine has lolz ).
