what i usually do per event is while ppl are busy competing for the items near the start i get some leveling done and then when everyone calms down i take a few days to hunt in lirs reach for the items ( sadly i usually get no good ones )

Dude is happening every where we all need mounts!!!!! We cant collect without them... (watch it work )

I don't mind the competition it's great! Already calming down sadly as I made 163k my first day selling just presents. Started off a few k each then petered down to 1k and ppl only want green. Now 1k is a hard sell. Soon it will be 50g each and sad times for us noobs who can't boss for big gold.

An excellent success story. These presents are a great way for lower levels to make gold. 163k!? Wow... I slaughtered mobs for about a year before I had that kind of cash.

ugh i cant wait till it dies down to 50g. screw running around all of lirs trying to find a few presents. the spawn time is too large for the number of people looking for them.

I still don't understand why you won't put them in other zones. Having all players mass in Lir's Reach, Arena, and Tavern competing for presents is just plain ridiculous. Why not let everyone else playing in other zones participate in the event?

So you want to search for presents in carrowmore or fingal's cave?

Heck why not? This present/stone gathering thing has been overly done in the last what - 4 or 5 events? It's always in the same places. We travel Carrowmore Tunnels every day when we go for bosses or when we do xp groups. At least let us pick up some presents along the way and not compete with newbies without mounts in Lir's. I just don't get it why OTM is reluctant to spread the event beyond Lir's Reach.
