Re: What would you prefer - one arena or several arenas?

I have to agree with Teaweasel in regards to watching. It's an interesting idea, but I'd rather not have my possible opponents be able to study my movements and they way I use skills/equipment.

Nubs will have duels they can watch outside the arena; they won't be missing out on PvP.
Grats on 95!

Yeah I think nubs is the particular word. For some reason, maybe because it's F2P this game has a high constituency of noob players. And that's fine, they learn and slowly shake the noob-gene. But yeah I think noobs wanna watch, and pro's wanna compete, and again that's fine. I understand wanting to study and watch and learn, that's just human, not some awful thing. But I think again that the arena should be a participant affair only, if you wanna learn...go in and get wrecked, repeatedly, and don't come to forums and cry for nerfs and class changes, stay in the arena until you get it right and understand why yer losing. learning takes time, and it's takes losing to get it right.

I suggest four level based areas so all can participate. You can go solo, in groups, or in a clan but can only enter the zone that falls within your level.

zone 1: lvl 10 - 30 accessed from Lairs
zone 2: 31 - 50 accessed from shalemont
50 - 80: accessed from stone
80+: accssed from new area

Also create a new ability: PVP that you increase by participating with heals or kills in the PVP areas. As your PVP ability increases you can use better weapons, armor, items etc specifically geared towards pvp.

i.e. Rogue items that increase your strength and hp making you better suited for PVP, or Druid items that increase your hp and defense or armor making you less squishy.
Alveron - 141 Rogue
Stagger Lee - 95 Druid
Carnalian - 133 Ranger
Wiz - 102 Mage

Yeah i never thought about the lag when people watch and i never really thought of people being able to watch your moves. When i think of someone being able to watch my moves it really makes me hate for people to be able to watch me in pvp and ruins the surprise of who will be in there the next time.

I would like free for all and group, clan not so much because on our world there are only 2 great clans..with that being said i would also like to attack and receive their drops lol
No offence to you,

But if someone is able to take something from me that i eaned for beating me im quitting thats by far the stupidest thing you could have in pvp. Now recieveing something for winning like xp or gold or even and item but not from the player you are fighting.
