Re: EASTER EVENT!

Correct me if im wrong but i believe it was emperor constantine of rome that created christmas, he created it to fall on the same day as Saturnalia celebration. He also is believed to of created easter and lent to also coincide with pagan holidays. I believe easter was the celebration of spring equinox. That is why chickens and rabbits, they were idols of fertility for the season. So i dont see why there would be a problem with an easter event as long as it was named like spring equinox or something along those lines.

Otm are busy with the engine and there are more important issues to address, an easter event is just a waste of time and resources.

It is true. A lot of "Christian" holidays were altered to go in sync with pagan festivals to make conversion easier. Its a thing of history and i find nothing wrong with it. Lol, and i still continue to clelebrate Christmas and Easter..not the eggs though. I still dont get the point of the bunny and the eggs...is the bunny that lays the eggs? Why do children even like eggs on easter? Why is there chocolate in eggs? Is this another Haloween...you scavange for sweet treats and you get to eat your plunder later...in more formal clothing?

Woah... So talking about RELIGION on a RELIGIOUS holiday named EASTER is derailing? Bahahahahaha
Get an education haters. But in all seriousness i doubt this would be implemented because i dont remember there being a holiday like easter in celtic history. I could be wrong though.
