I saw a few botters on Crom but mostly in crookback/catacombs
I reported them all and they seem to have disappeared

OTM do stop botters, but they need proof to do so. It's extremely difficult to know of someone is Botting or not, but if you look closely its easy to see.

Botters can be caught by sitting around and watching them for 5 -10 mins. If they are constantly casting the same skills in order with no time difference between, then it's obvious they are Botting. Send a report to support if this is the case

OTM can see from the logs if someone is botting, it is very obvious if someone is. If you think someone is botting, just report him i am sure he will be banned. I too have noticed a surge in botting recently.

Why exactly do you care if their botting? Their only taking one mob in an area and arent hurting you in any way

Because it is cheating and it undermines the fun of competing.

Left unpunished it would deteriorate into someone setting up a server farm with 100 level 100 toons that farmed half a map 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (366 on leap years). Perhaps you could see the unfairness in botting 5m a day.

Lol that person is definitely a botter that is getting away with it. One Thumb probably has a lot on their hands at the moment. But with bitters getting away it sure isnt helping their business. Never seen anyone be afk for 4 days and touch screen every 2 minutes.

There's a player on Arawn who does the same thing. Sits at a fast spawning bolg all day without moving. Repeating the same skills in the same order every time. If u love him or kill him by pulling aggro he will stand still in that new spot or dead on the floor for hours and hours on end

Saw this too. Said person was dual device botting. They were also using their druid that would cast support skill at certain intervals.
