Druid vs Mage? That's like asking which type of potato cam is better for making a vid. Both need so much work to the point that there shouldn't be anymore mage or druid vs. It should be rogue vs warrior and maybe ranger.

Fun is subjective, but overall power and leveling speed definitely go to rogues.

Though if you insist on choosing a caster as your main, I would recommend mage for the lures and nuke damage spells. Make sure to stock up on sigils—especially energy.

I have a huge experience of almost all class and what i liked the most is beeing a druid for the lux /sigils. No problem but the only problem is leveling with someone, no one wan't druids beacause of plat items , druid is the funniest class to play and the hardest too :/

Bro if i would ever get a class to 190 id go mage all the way. They r very op and make him an ice mage they do wicked dmg!!

so true. I decided to make a druid as a main (big mistake) when I started the game. I got her to 130 and decided to make a rogue got him up to 121 and climbing

I agree. My next alt is going to be a Druid and I have a fun idea on a leveling build.

So many people push support druids aside. I lvled my 2nd rogue with a full support druid from lvl 150-182. Never died, didnt have to use combos or hp lixes, and exp was extremely good, because i never had to worry about dying. Support druids are by far both the best for lvling with and cost effective. People just think using a combo and spamming pots is better, which is just folly.

I also leveled with a support Druid 140-177(been inactive since 177.) She was full support skills from 140-160 then went dps skills and some support soils which I found more helpful. Our xp was much better when she went dps.

It is all about dps, let me repeat, it is about DPS.
Rouge win in this game, period, because of DPS.
No class comes close to speed in leveling than a rogue.

Between a Mage and Druid it is clearly Mage.
Mage has far more DPS than a Druid.
Druids will the lowest DPS, by far, are the slowest leveling class, by far.

Druids do have the greatest amount of play style.
But make sure you bank a lot of alteration books.
