Gwydion is pretty nice lately, griefing used to be openly practised but now its pretty uncommon.

No major pottymouths either. Just some friendly banter.

Competition is healthy.

The rivalry between Soldiersofjah and Retribution could almost be said to have started since V1-2.

In Sulis, and I assume as well as other servers, clan wars dont start because bosses, well they do but it goes beyond that. People, with several backgrounds, are in the two top clans now. What happens is that, in the past there are players hopping from one clan to another because there isnt much if a super power, lots if a class players banding together making clans. What its lead to today, is players that were once best buds on opposite clans. At a time, SulisLegends was the rival clan of the server, and branched off to Genesis, Retribution and some Jah. Eventually Retribution became the clan that values your usefulness more than personality and morals, so they gained the upper hand. Genesis was viewed as ksers, assholes etc. but it was just Retribution brainwashing people because they were the dominant clan. Their own clan consists of many old players that did horrid things, and still prevent us from killing bosses they dont need. Same with Jah, we have some players that did some heavy duty, but no clan can be perfect, but thats what Retribution makes everyone believe.

A month or two ago, Genesis merged with Soldiersofjah. We then became a muchhh stronger force, and right now? We are doing amazing for a non dominant clan, got out first dl dagger a week ago.

Prices are fine, 200 gold per plat except for Chests, items sold publicly usually long ways off shop price.

I played V2 for a lvl 90 ranger, came back about 11 months ago in Samhain, so really only played like a serious player now in v4. Of course, all of this is incredibly biased, and coming from a Soldierofjah.

Same with Jah, we have some players that did some heavy duty, but no clan can be perfect, but thats what Retribution makes everyone believe.
I think Retribution tries not to be subjective when it comes to gearing which is the correct way to put it. No system is perfect but we try... Also name one of the major quest gearing bosses that a clan doesn't need? How is camping, playing hard trying to get those bosses by locking it not fair play? It's always a misconception to think we start wars, bc in reality we don't start them we finish them.

Merging with nasty ppl will be the down fall of Jah. If you look at Retributions record of ppl in our clan we have most of all the leaders/chiefs that have been our greatest Rivals in our clan today. What does that say about Retribution? We can look past wars and competitive rivalry. We value those ppl who made their own clans great at one point... you can keep those same nasty ppl who seem to tear apart clan after clan. Those mercenary types who rot the core and heart of each clan they join.

bc what you wrote is a huge misconception on the politics between the two clans.
For most of the history between the two clans, Retribution was not rivals with Soldiersofjah. In fact Jah was considered a sister clan and both clans had many friends between clans. Unfortunately was fears of Jah falling apart and Retribution swallowing up it's top members that there was a decision to ally instead of merge. This is where the problems started. Jah's leader more concerned about his reputation of being the chief of jah rather than the concerns of the 3 allied clans was making things very difficult to deal with. So difficult that in the end the alliance was severed. To be quite frank Retribution didn't benefit at all from only 2-3 ppl from jah coming to Mord or camping dl bosses. Even knowing that the clans were splitting Retribution made sure that Jah could spend their dkp points to request items. How is that not trying to be fair or having moral?

You guys often do Comrak, for what? Your damn alts, and dont tell me Trans because we both know its just Ret that camps non carrowmore. More often than not, there will be 8 full dl geared Ret calnnies fighting us for a 165 rd. That kills me, people who already have the gear working for ones who dont. Its just become a game for being in command for you now, and its disappointing seeing how in other worlds the dominant clans dont allow that sort of thing.

You weren't able to see past wars, you were able to see past personality. Face it, you guys swallow all the power. As if some moral crap like, we take clan leaders cuz we can see past wars will work on me. True enough, Jah was at first a sister clan, but I never mentioned that it was the rival clan all the time. Genesis, SulisLegends were. But Jah had some of those members. The alliance was practically kerwood, jsco, mamba, raymond, gogaz, abijam, and Bungle. Thats it. I honestly cant call that an alliance. I only joined when they broke, because of this. And even now, you ask Jah members to join, IDC if we ask, because were fine with some Ret members, but you guys make it absolutely clear that we are "scum" but still invite.

The Retribution/Transcendent join Cycle:
1. Get bashed horribly by Trans/Ret because you aren't in their clan they have the reason to.
2. Recieve an invite
3. Trans/Ret now officially love you, and you don't have enough self-esteem to realize what just happened.

This doesn't apply to all of Ret/Trans, there are some really cool people. But the main idea and leaderships manner of doing things is quite unnecessary. Your clan is mostly supercilious. Known for ignoring people completely, and making silly come backs to facts such as "i dont even have time for u".

And it amuses me that when you take members from rival clans you are "Seeing past wars and becoming stronger" and if Jah takes members from YOUR rival clans, then its our downfall. *claps slowly*
