I still miss bosses dropping restos etc. Not that they're hard to come by for some people it just gives those that do not purchase platinum more options. What's ironic is that it was the players in the non-dominant clans who wanted bosses to have a random spawn time, thinking it would be better for them if players just happen to "chance upon a boss". I've said before that it would simply making camping excessive and is detrimental to the game. Too bad OTM listened to them and look at what we have now.The biggest challenge in this game when I started was the competition. 3-4 different clans at Falgren hoping to win an FFA. Timed spawns so you didn't have to camp around for hours to possibly lose.
Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#62it would be nice to have a separate area for individual clans to have access too, maybe in castle,
with mini games available depending on the level of the clan. This clan area could have a clan bank,
maybe you could decorate the walls with your major kills as trophies of the clan, certain clan vendors
depending on lvl to buy clan related fashion, area to duel each other, etc. Along with whatever mini games
celtic related or not. Just a private area to converse and interact with your clan. You can invest into it to
purchase items for the clan area/building to add on room, vendors, minigames..
I remember when arena and dueling came out no one ever really used it at all. And still theres not much too it
in my opinion. I feel like anything thats done is going to take a while to perfect peek interest like with arena.
A good idea but basically pointless. Theres no gear from arena to be won or anything worth while just a bit
of xp.
I think if anything is done it needs to be well thought out and developed fully rather than sending us something
that feels like it was never finished. I think our ideas for the game are just as important as OTMs in deciding
what "we" all will enjoy and what could work best to keep "us" involved. Especially if you purchase plat im sure
these people want to see their money go to good use as well.
And maybe OTM needs more posts like these to understand what it is we would like to see in the game too so
i think this is a very relevant post and the more ideas the better. Not to bash OTM but hopefully they can
take some of these thoughts and run with it.

This would definitely hold a player base, there's nothing I enjoy more then repetitive nothing, and lvling doesn't count haha

None of those players (i say none but i guess the majority) were ever prepared enough lvl or equipment wise to take on these bosses. They get a quest, they see a boss, they want the kill. Even if it takes the whole server to kill. I dont understand either how OTM could have changed it when these types of players are normally clanless or too eager to get new equipment they think they can skip the whole process of lvling up and earning gear needed to take on such a challenge to begin with and its still like that now from what i can see. While the grinding has always been terrible those people who have stuck it out are the ones who have succeeded further than the others and formed the clans to succeed further. Like minded people playing with like minded people. Its the same with those who struggle to get anywhere without working for it and with a clan full of the same people its a doomed process. why punish those who understand the mechanics of the game? maybe OTM cant keep up with those people?

Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#65i would hope they wouldnt cheat us out of the idea and it actually be different from anything else that has come to pass lol like as you said the "den" would need a 100% camo around it from the rest of the server so you dont get pmd or annoyed by other players while your in there. like an offline status apart from the rest of your clannies lol if they made it like just any other area of the game noting the repetition used for all their updates id have to just throw my hands up lol+1, A clan "den" with an oracle that transports you to "strange and distant lands"it would be nice to have a separate area for individual clans to have access too, maybe in castle,

Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#66Idk about "camo" unless you mean what I was thinking haha, my idea was kind of a clan only area that to get through you have to walk through some portal in a heavily populated area, turning one of the gates in the castle into this would be great-- You could pay large somes of gold to upgrade this area, which could be restricted to generals and chieftains to actually purchase these upgrades, after upgraded a few times maybe throw a vendor or two in there, a spirit mendor (heal to full hp/energy) and a mini game added upon each upgrade, a great source of revenue imo.
Even A clan Bank
(rank restrictions that can be changed by the chieftan)
And of course these areas would be clan based, meaning clan A can't go into clan Bs area etc.

Re: Where has the challenge gone?
#68Just a silly way of saying when your inside these clan areas you have the privacy of only having your clan to chat with and to others outside the "den" you would seem offline not that the whole place is a camo pattern or anything lol in reference to 80% camo charms and things d: but yes, your ideas for this is exactly what i have in mind and then some! that all sounds great and on point lolIdk about "camo" unless you mean what I was thinking haha, my idea was kind of a clan only area that to get through you have to walk through some portal in a heavily populated area, turning one of the gates in the castle into this would be great-- You could pay large somes of gold to upgrade this area, which could be restricted to generals and chieftains to actually purchase these upgrades, after upgraded a few times maybe throw a vendor or two in there, a spirit mendor (heal to full hp/energy) and a mini game added upon each upgrade, a great source of revenue imo.
