Hey all, this is my first proper forum post so go easy on me with the comments,
I'm only level 120+ healer druid and been playing the game since 2011 halloween. Back then in stonevale everyone was unelixired and levelling.
Now days the amount of xp per level for people above 140 is ridiculous! i lixed with a friend at trolls near mordris. I went from level 116-121 in 1 day (lixing) and my friend (186 rogue) done 4 bars. In all i used 3-4lixes per level for a rough total of 18-20 lixes....BUT 18-20 LIXES FOR 4 BARS? Thats ridiculous imo.
Tbh this is why i think otm hasnt implemented the amount of xp you would require to gain your next level,, on your xp bar.
I'm not here to ask otm to make levelling easy but I'm just asking that they make it a less of a paytoplay game. I just ask that they reduce the amount of lixes required to level, this is probably the reason why no new players are deciding to stick to the game.
I tried creating a new toon just to see what it was like to be a new player again, my energy was draining like crazy. To think that at level 60 you would have to stop every kill just to regen...that just makes it soooo much harder to level.
Tbh i think otm should help out new players a little bit, maybe give them 20 free energy pots/regen pots NOTRADE.
Let me know your opinions

#5Well they already seem to be suffering as a company since they have such a small staff. So how bout we have to do a subscription then? Then reduce leveling challenges (I think not)
Sides, the higher you go, the more advantages, you could simply stop at level 180 and call it good. thats when ya get full DL so why not? Only boss you cannot do is level 200 necro and soon-to-be-gone 200 garanak. If you want the extra level then you'll gtta fight for it.

Re: Levelling
#6I agree its ludicrous that we have to use this many lixes, but if leveling was easy we would all hit 200 then have nothing to do.
OTM has done well in making it hard for people to level as they usually take ages in implementing new content.

#8+1 I completely agree with this. I need to use alot of elixir per level.I agree its ludicrous that we have to use this many lixes, but if leveling was easy we would all hit 200 then have nothing to do.

Re: Levelling
#10At 173 I'm still getting a lvl every 10 lix, I think that's pretty reasonable this close to end game.
Don't get it wrong I'd like to lvl every 2 lix, but it wouldn't bring the same sense of acheivement.
Also, given the total lack of end game, why would you wanna get there any quicker?
