Curious is anyone playing the game currently on an iphone 3G?
Its running firmware 4.21.xxxxx (somehting)

I go to download it and it tells me that i need io 5, but it can use the last version.
It loads and gets to the screen "calculating patch list" then does not go any further an has an error.

Any suggestions?

Well right after engine was released they rushed the update so that people before iphone 4 are compatible. Then some bugs and such started occuring so thy made another OPTIONAL update for higher versions. So you probs have the very first engine release update out.

I don't think so because it needs the right version or some things would e left out.

I use 8 devices one is an iphone 3G. It is a beaten husk of a phone at this point limping along on a replacement battery. Otherwise it is fully functional device.

You can instal the game. Here's the problem. Your device lags like a drunken sailor who was just beaten over the head. When you connect to the game server it keeps timing out. Keep trying it worked for me around the 8th time.

When (if) you get it running the game isn't playable. I use it for afk farming and reading chat but you can't type or go into regions where many people are or you will pass out face down on the poop deck.
