I had similar feelings as some of you, and so I quit about a year ago. I played other games like WoW, order and chaos, and Diablo. All of which were good MMOs. But I kept missing something that I could never explain from celtic heroes. Then I decided what the heck I will come back and play CH. I realized quickly that yes the grind is tedious, however the end game content is really good for the type of game that CH is. So I have accepted the grind as a necessity to ensure that the end game content be accessible to only those who are invested in the game. Could there be more end game content, you could make that argument, however once again in my opinion , that is where the events come into play. Since the first event I was part of in 2012 I feel like OTM has done a great job of introducing content that keeps you occupied for a little bit, then removes it just as it gets boring.
People will argue "the end game content gets boring". I say to you go on a date, go to a nursing home and volunteer some time, surprise your mom, roomates, spouse and do some extra chores around the house. Then go back to stonevale and otherworld and help a noob. Go collect summoning runes or beastbones and wait for someone to shout they are buying them and surprise them with a free donation. Go to the class forums and post some of your personal opinions about your class (there is not much input from level 190+ players). Go farm meteoric tabs and rems and donate them to an upstart clan. You will find a lot of fulfillment from helping others out and while you are waiting for aggy, hrung, mordis, or necro to spawn you may build some friendships along the way.
