Of course this doesn't matter to me, but most beginners ks without knowing it's bad...so, to all the beginners out there, if you don't want to get in any trouble, read this post:
Ksing: Kill stealing. This is a huge problem and you won't get congratulated for it. This is when someone is attacking an enemy, and you butt in and try to kill the enemy. This is NOT good. You shouldn't do any more than heal the attacking player.
Re: Beginners don't understand ksing...
#2I think that for any online game, there has been a detach with the though of kill stealing. For some games, it might appear as something that is okay to do but it is totally different when you have committed to a monster and someone else just starts firing away with it. And most of the ones that actually do kill steal are those who are able to attach from longer ranges.

#4Listen it's simple, I would guess that less than 20% of the community reads forums, you need to pull people aside thru whispers or thru say and talk to them. Let them know about server ettiquette and what behaviour is gonna get you widespread condemnation once you get past a certain stage.
This is obviously server to server, different server's have different expectations, but I can say this: Many people simply have no idea. And they learn not from reading random forums, but from someone they respect or know enough about in their clan or their server to let them know what is expected in them.
If you take the time to work in crafting your community then you can enforce your community, but it takes time, and cooperation and despite it all it takes teaching people. I would bet that half of the noobs that KS don't know any better, and half of them are willing to be upstanding citizens on your server. Teach, share knowledge about the game beyond just KS'ing, and recruit new players to join in good server etiquette.
