Ok so I'm wondering if I should use entangle.
It sounds good as a skill "reduce enemy's attack speed by 50%". So I'm wondering if I should start to use it. What's your guys opinions?

Many rangers don't use it, however with the opening of the Tower (and some testing on the beta) I have started using it.

It is very useful if you solo level a lot. It is useful in group leveling to keep your non-tank alive if they grab aggro.

In solo use, I rely on bolas first, damage mob as much as possible, then entangle and go toe to toe.

So I believe useful for high level players.

As a ranger since you have really a small pool of skills to choose from entangle isn't half bad.

Great skill for bossing if you have a decent amount of rangers helping you out with the bolas. Although if your clan is low on Rangers this isn't a skill I would recommend as it takes a large amount of energy which might hinder your ability to bolas, and if you aren't a dex build (or have a decent amount of dex) then chances are you're going to miss quite a few times.

As a combo with maxed light heal it is really good. It's awesome with my mordy spear leveling solo in tower.

For bosses again combed with light heal i am a pocket druid keeping tanks not getting damage and healing them.

It only misses a lot on bosses, regular mobs i rarely have it resisted.

Entangle is like howling wind. It works ok on mobs but not so great on bosses. It misses far too often and has too long a cd. I tried it but gave up as even with 750-1k dex it dosent help bossing much.

If you have to solo level it's ok. It's not among my top choices for group leveling.

In my own experience, Entangle is a great skill for soloing mini bosses, and helps a lot if your hunting group is low on druids (or you actually are the one healing) IF it isn't evaded. Helps you in duo lvling to reduce dmg to the one tanking, so he (or you) doesn't waste lix time on healing (ignore this last point if you lvl on combos, or SK's + Health Regen Lixes).

IIRC It has a 45 seconds CD, 30 seconds active and 15 seconds idle, but in my case I fill that time gap with the added skill of Midnight Tali, Starstone/Stargem of Dex (magic dmg shield with an active duration of 15 secs and 45 second CD).
